Our Team will be:

Reina
G.Johnson, New Cb, New Cb (Carragher past expiry date), New Lb

J.Milner, Veleso or moutinho, Gerrard, A.Young

Abalonghor, Torres

We can all dream right?  :p

Holy :censored: :censored: batman

That team would make baby jesus cry

Oh and where would we find the 100million + to bring them in?

:help

There's an articlehere

I believe if the New York company took 40% of the club, they are only giving us £30m and rest has to by selling our players.

2bh, it's not making me wanna sit in front of the tv watchin ss news all summer waiting.

Even if they give 2b to Rafa , those players might end on the bench most of the time ...

If some people had brains, they'd be dangerous.

In the Summer, if we don't get a Xavi (not Xabi) or an Iniesta type player to sort that midfield out, I seriously don't know where we're heading. I seriously hope that if Gerrard doesn't go in the summer, then he needs to start playing for us, because right now he's a liability. People can slander Lucas for the same all they want, but the difference between the two is the Gerrard is capable of far better, so you know it's down to his application on the pitch, whereas Lucas does actually try.

We have the best striker on the planet (f*ck off Sky Sports with yer Rooney sh*te) bar none. If Torres had half the service Rooney gets in a game, he'd be scoring 30 a season without breaking a sweat. People can blame Benitez all they want, but when that transfere window opens in the Summer, and when it comes to the Yanks to do their job by giving the appropriate funds, then we'll see who the villains at this club really are. This is Liverpool FC. One of the biggest clubs on the planet, and to be spending 6-7 million on a player on average, with the odd 15-17 million player paid for on drip is a f*cking sham. If a clubs asking fee for a top player is 30 million or there abouts, then it should be coughed up and not an eyebrow raised. We're a massive club. It's time we competed like a massive club in the transfere market. It won't happen though, so in the meantime, get used to your Yossi Benayoun's and Dirk Kuyts because it will take years for this club to be brought up to speed with the damge done during the 90's. The youth system and scouting will take some time before we really see the Benifits of the Benitez regime at this football club. People looking a quick and immediate fix are deluded IMO.

I believe we have to stick with what we got, it's basically the same side as last year apart from Alonso, Arbeloa. I don't think we can compete against Utd, Chelski & Arsenal until we are 3rd season in with ....... our new stadium, which we desperately need the most above all.

We are in an endless circle.

To attract the best players in the world we need to win leagues and be in europe.( which require money ) DOH !

To get into those positions we need to have the best players and play the best football. (which require money ) DOH !

To get our stadium we need investment.......which comes from being good at the 2 statements above. DOH !

At this moment in time we have neither.

We need investment so vast its mind boggling.

240 million to pay off RBS
100 million to build a new stadium
100 - 150 million to entice a minimum of 5 world class players to the club
20 million to pay off Rafa ( if so required )

??? million to buy out the chuckle brothers.

Round it up to say ooooohhh  3/4 of a BILLION

Aquilani isn't a bad signing, is he? He looks quality, it's just baffing how he isn't playing as much as he should, which gives me the impression that he's being kept for next season and Benitez will be staying. I think we lost 1 million on the Keane deal, but to be fair he was quickly moved on and look where he is now. I don't care what anyone else says, Benitez has generally spent well with what he's been given in a single window. Perhaps if he was allocated more we'd have a Ribery, Silva or a Villa playing for us instead of a Benayoun or a Bosman Maxi.

Fair enough but my problem is that he bought both Aqualini and Keane for big money and didnt know what to do with them. FWIW I think both are good players but surely if you are going to spend big money like that you have a plan as to where you are going to play these players.

We can't compete. I'm sorry, I just feel we can't. Wenger hasn't spent much in the last five years or more, and hasn't won anything either, but he had a plan in motion, and if they win the title this season, it'll be a direct result of that. Buying youth and bringing them in with the odd big money signing here and there. It's balancing books with an eye to the bigger picture. Then you factor in their stadium, Arsenal are a very, very well run club, whereas we are not. We're a sham right now and I'm amazed we've players like Torres and Mascharano and Riena still willing to play for us.

It's not just about money or signings, it's his negative tactics, lack of motivational skills etc..the man has run out of ideas.  Time for a change.

Not sure how many of u have sacked RAFA again - but for me without some serious investment in this team, we are going to keep dithering on the edge .. either in seconnd place, like last season, or in 5th 6th spot for the 4th position as today.

Today continues to prove unless there is some SERIOUS DENARS/ BUCKS/ POUNDS, whetever currency you wanna talk, behind this great club of ours,  we will not be where most of us know this club should be.
THE BRENDAN REVOLUTION IS UPON US !

KING KENNY.. Always LEGEND !

RAFA.. MADE THE PEOPLE HAPPY !

Miss YOU Phil-Drummer - RIP YNWA

nah zara, I can't blame the owners anymore, 10 league defeats is too much with a squad who is capable of getting into the top four with the right team selection.

It goes down to the manager.

We have already lost 10 games out of 31, in Houlliers last season we only lost 8 games out of 38.

Maybe if we were to get a huge transfer chest off our loving owners Rafa might be able to turn things around. As that is looking slightly doubtful, maybe we should be looking for a manager who can do more with less.

This team needs more inspiration, less persperation and more footballers not spoilers.
