ASTON VILLA VS LIVERPOOL - The countdown begins

I rewatched the Aston Villa games on the e-season ticket from last year, and last year for the Villa Away match we played:
                      Reina
Finnan     Carra       Agger     Riise
Gerrard     Momo     Mascherano   Aurelio
               Bellamy     Kuyt

As you can tell from the result, it was not that effective, Momo came out early in the second half for Alonso, Gerrard was playing all over the pitch, Bellamy was teriible.  No creativity, although there were some half chances.  Also, Young and Ibangedawhoar are not to be taken lightly.    We dominated the home contest, it was 3-0 at half, they looked very weak against our arial attack (also source of our best chances in the away match) and Hyypia was actually involved in the offense and had some useful headers.  So, I would go with:
                Reina
Finnan   Carra    Agger    Riise
Pennant  SG     Mascherano   Kewell
             Torres   Crouch
Subs: Martin, Sami, Yossi, Alonso, Kuyt

I can't see Mascherano starting.  He's hardly had much of a pre season, plus he played over the summer.  I could be wrong though.

and i think we'll win 3 nil with a kuyt hatrick

Whatever the line-up I will be disappointed if we don't win by 2 goals or more.
I want Torres to score one as the other one will deffo be scored by Gerrrad.???

No offence, lad, but this kind of stuff makes me cringe.  Having said that, it's better than the ones that muppet came up with last season.  Remember "Dagger Agger"?  :O  :D

That is another thing. F#cking fed up of us tailoring our team to match others. They're Aston Villa, for f#cks sake. We don't need to "match" them... we need to get on the pitch and :censored: them.

Tactical guile? Genius? You don't need it against anyone but the other top three away and in European competition. It is time Rafa stopped out-thinking the likes of Allardyce, O'Neill and Southgate and just gets the team on the pitch and tell them to do their thing.

Dont be silly man. Torres wont be on the bench. And Benitez will certainly not play THAT formation

Mihaylov will NOT be on the subs bench as Charley will be.

Sorry I spelt it wrong I meant "Charlie" - the goalie from Lens.
