If its true then a ban for life minimum. I would grab the cunt by the neck and walk him to nearest policeman.

Well lets not jump to conclusions. Its best to wait and see what happened there.

dundreamin, this incident isn't a witch hunt.

Unfortunately, this sort of stuff from fans does happen, not just on our grounds.

Just wish that the other pool fans sitting around him had the courage to drag him to the ground staff and get him kicked out of the stadium. That would be a statement to the fact that this club, its supporters and players don't stand for real racism.

I think we're in for the long haul as far as lfc, racism and tabloids are concerned.

The club needs to act fast on this

Really puts a damper on a good performance.

A fella near me at the Wolves game last season shouted out 'Konchevski you knob!' 3 times during the game.

Is that racist, a sexual assault or a compliment?

Clearly the FA need to advise players how to react to nasty, nasty people calling them names during a game.

What a namby-pamby nation we have become.

We don't know if anything said was racist. A lot of people I heard who were at the game and sat next to the fan heard "manc b@stard". Let's see what the investigation says before jumping into any conclusion, which the mirror is so good at doing

Well congrats to the fans who abused the lad , they have prob damaged our club massively

At the ground there were various rumours from a coin being thrown at him , calling him a manc or calling him a black b@&!tard - just look at the lad and see how visibly upset the lad was its not rocket science to guess which insult was said !!!! A young 20year old lad just playing football and he is subjected to that - if it's confirmed it was racial then kick us out of the FA Cup !! A lesson needs to be learnt and a message needs to be sent out .

Totally agree with you Reg, was reading on another site when Norwich played Spurs, the Norwich fans were giving Bale bad stick about looking like a chimp but he just shrugged if off.

Good job Gerrard doesn't burst into tears every time he gets insulted by opposing fans or he would need fkg windscreen wipers! I don't know what was said and it was obviously offensive but why does a good looking, well paid, highly intelligent and talented sportsman take any notice whatsoever of some brainless yob who probably can't even spell the word racism! It would not surprise me in the least if he regards himself as a Liverpool supporter.I would prefer to think that he was a United supporter or a story seeking journalist but that probably isn't the case! Let's face it we have all stood or sat next to somebody who's mouth isn't controlled by their brain and they constantly abuse players racially or otherwise. Frankly they should simply be ignored!

And what will that lesson be? If your losing a cup tie have Trojan fan in the stands to hurl abuse
Stamp racism out, this sort of obsessed navel gazing only encourages it
