i`m not bothered what the score is just as long as come ten to six tonight our name is in the hat for the fifth round.
we should have too much for them but as mansfield demonstrated in the last round these ties can be a bit perilous if you let the opposition get a foothold in the game.
i imagine it will be their biggest crowd of the season and for their players the biggest game of their season to date so they are going to be well up for it.
this is definately one of those games where that old football adage applies - `hard work beats talent if talent doesnt work hard`.
if we put a shift in we should be alright.

There are plenty of reasons why former Everton 'wonderkid' Jose Baxter is loving life in League One with Oldham right now - and Sunday's FA Cup clash with his boyhood heroes Liverpool is just one of them.

BBC Sport

Name seems to ring a bell but I don't know much about this lad,  given how we're buying "youth" nowadays it'll be interesting to see what he can do, his early career looked impressive, but seems like that promise hasn't been fulfilled/developed.

    Born: Bootle Age: 20
    Position: Forward
Youth career: By the age of 15, he had broken Patrick Kluivert's international youth goalscoring records and the records of Wayne Rooney, Ian Rush and Michael Owen at club youth level
Senior career: Made his Everton debut aged 16 years and 191 days in August 2008, and had his first senior start a week later
Was an unused sub in the 2009 FA Cup final
His only other Everton start came in Europa League against BATE Borisov in December 2009
Joined Oldham on a four-month deal in September
Scored the equaliser eight minutes after coming off the bench on his debut against Notts County.
Is the Latics' top scorer with 11 goals in 25 starts this season.
Signed a new two-and-a-half-year contract in January

BBC Sport

Score 4-1, provided as others have said "we put in a shift"

Hope we can rest a few for Arsenal. I know we should be careful, considering what happened against Mansfield, and how Arsenal struggled yesterday against a lesser side and Chelsea are at the moment, but we need the likes of Lucas, Gerrard and Suarez fresh for Wednesday, so I think we should go out with a mixed squad. As it seems, Coates is at the exit door so I won't include him.

                              Jones

        Johnson    Skrtel     Carra    Robinson

                  Hendo   Allen   Shelvey

          Downing      Sturridge     Sterling

If things are going well, I'd like Johnson to be subbed by Flanagan, Downing by Suso and Hendo/Sterling/Sturridge by someone.

Oldham are one of the worst sides in league two and are on terrible form. With Arsenal on Wednesday it would be suicide to start with our strongest 11 since they have the extra day recovery and had their big guns on the bench yesterday. Mix it up and win the game in the second half using the bench. McLaughlin and Pelosi have been training with the first team this week, and Coady is pretty much full time at Melwood, so all three should be in contention. Coady’s height and strength in the middle could be useful in a game like this with a lot of high balls expected.

Not available: Reina, Doni, Kelly, Flanagan, Enrique, Assaidi
Doubt: Johnson

                                   Jones

McLaughlin     Carragher     Coates     Robinson

                                    Coady
                        Shelvey           Allen

                Suso                                 Sterling
                                    Borini

Subs: Sturridge, Suarez, Downing, Lucas, Wisdom, Skrtel, Gulacsi

Very attacking lineup, let's hope it provides goals!

Jones, Wisdom, Robinson, Coates, Skrtel, Allen, Henderson, Sterling, Borini, Sturridge, Suarez.

Gulacsi, Carragher, Shelvey, Lucas, Downing, Gerrard, Suso

Very interesting and attacking line-up. Very glad Coates is starting. Does this mean he's staying?

Another very interesting thing is that Suarez will captain the team :)

Spurs went out and Chelsea was close to losing as well. We should be really careful with these guys.
