Man City won the game in first gear whilst we scurried about in an endless circle of passing with no end product.
We looked like a half decent Europa outfit facing a Champs League team where by we flatter to deceive until the final third only to punished by quality at the other end.
We have nothing up front and therefore not playing Bellamy was a mystery. Gerrard should have started as we cannot face a team like City without these two boys in the side. Oldham should have been their rest game.
Long, long way to go and it was in evidence last night thats a cert.
