First leg done us over. That's how vital it was to score a single goal away. This season is burnt and best to just forget about it now. Couldn't give a toss what happens on Sunday and it will actually be one of the first times that if we lose that I'll actually be not too fussed over and possibly even feeling good about it. That's a sad indictment and reflection on the overall state of us and the season that unfolded. We've a LOT of building to do and winning this trophy would have gone a long way in preparation to doing that. Gutted. Gutted for our fans. We deserved to at least have a little joy out of this nightmare season. F*ck it!

Well played Liverpool - Titans every one of them. What a shame.....Fair play to Atletico their organisation was spot on.

Our lack of quality at times tonight was embarrassing.

Lots of guts and running around but no class, I dont know where we go from here

I thought Babel showed a lot more commitment tonight, chased the ball at every chance. But he gave the ball away far too often. Still think we should get rid of him.

It's a good thing this season happened on a World Cup year, because otherwise over the Summer, I'd be going nuts. At least it is something to look forward to now. Just want this season to be over already.

So sad - the lads had no legs atthe end - Gerrard was a goner.

Gotta applaud the players - that was a hell of an effort from them and I'm totally devastated right now . Tiredness just did it in the end and one defensive lapse . Well played lads YNWA
