Good performance. 3-0 and a clean sheet. Thats why you play sturridge. He may not have the work rate of lets say lallana, but he makes the difference.

We were immense.

Players worked their socks off.

Defense was solid.

Our wonderful supporters lifted the roof off yet again.

Klopp annihilated Marcelino's tactics. Hasn't even been here one season and already got us into 2 cup finals. AMAZING!

Don't give me this rubbish that they were poor. WE MADE THEM LOOK POOR!

Commentators summed it up perfectly "VILLAREAL DON'T KNOW WHAT HIT THEM"

Firmino, Can and Sturridge was immense...Coutinho and Milner putting in a good shift and Lallana worked so tirelessly. Lovren and Toure was solid and didn't do much wrong all day.

That was a great performance against a more than decent side, make no mistake we had a tough job on our hands tonight but we made it look relatively easy in the end.
I thought Lallana had it right in his post match interview, he said if the players all press as a unit and work hard for each other then we are capable of beating anyone.

Excellent display from everyone out there. Can is becoming one of the better CMs around and you can see how important he is to our style of play. Lets hope we dont get any silly injuries before that final and Klopp starts with Sturridge upfront

Awesome performance! So sweet to play in a final and we deserve it. When we play like this no team has it easy against us.
