interesting point tbh

Just an excuse, the rules have been their for a long time now.

In days gone by we would have went through with the golden goal

The second half cost us....... we took our foot off the pedal and let them back in the game thinking we could score on the break...... we couldn't. Maybe we would have conceeded a goal in normal time if we had continued attacking, but maybe we would have won the game comfortably.

When they are down...... you don't fecking let them get up.

I think a lot of that came from them being f.ecking knackered as well towards the end - we still created chances just stopped dictating the pace but it is always going to be hard to control the game for the full 90mins

Great Effort by lads tonight

Felt we had to close the game in 90 minutes and that Rafa should have forced a change when we started fading out at the 60-70 minute.

Wonderfull night for little Yossi which for me was the MOM with Mash.

Just lately i have realised how a catastrophic defender Johnson is ,and placing him on the left also left us with no attacking right back...

Gerrard great disappointment for me tonight ,uninspiring ,careless ,no real Stevie presence at the field.

The problem with us this year is that even when we want we can't due to lack of quality ,but again alltogether a great team effort and display of heart and passion.

Thank you Liverpool Bid us farewell Rafa the team has just exhusted itself under your managment ,it is time for rebuilding and new ideas.

I dont remember their goal exactly but what did Johnson do that was so wrong - I seem to remember Forlan being completely unmarked in the box

he went up for a high ball with reyes and the ball came down straight onto the foot of reyes who had a clear run on goal

yeh but our centre backs werent exactly great for it either were they? bit harsh to say it was only Johnson at fault IMO

I still think he'd be a better right winger FWIW. I'm just arguing this particular instance thats all

just look at our squad in depth its an absolute fecking joke. no right back cover no striker cover. why oh why never play the aquilani. kuyts first touch is abysmall. never mind sacking rafa which top manager is gona come here with no CL and no budget. plus torres and gerrard are off.
