just about sums up our season really

Joe - just mean watching his former team beat his current - not an indication that I think he might leave
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Can't fault our effort tonight, they gave it everything - including Babel!!! it was just typical of our season that we couldn't see it through. :(

We gave it a good effort but in the end our lack of strength in depth was exposed and Madrid gained the upper half.

gerrard in extra time was anonymous, and rafas sub are just weird. I still cant believe we are not in the final :(
