Players worked their socks off.

Defense was solid.

Our wonderful supporters lifted the roof off yet again.

Klopp annihilated Marcelino's tactics. Hasn't even been here one season and already got us into 2 cup finals. AMAZING!

Don't give me this rubbish that they were poor. WE MADE THEM LOOK POOR!

Commentators summed it up perfectly "VILLAREAL DON'T KNOW WHAT HIT THEM"

So proud of my team. Bring on the final........

Excellent performance. With the improvement in Can and Lovren over recent months we actually look like we have a decent spine again. Add the attacking talent of our front 4 and you have a good team. We might not be consistent but we are a better team than most give us credit for. Klopp has really got the best out of some of these players.

Bring on Sevilla

I don't think you can overstate the importance of Klopp here. He's made huge improvements with some very average players. That's what great managers do.

Can't wait to see what he does when he brings in some REAL talent this summer.

Milner was massive once again. We don't miss Henderson, we don't miss Stevie G. Onwards and upwards!

Credit to Danny- I thought he worked his socks off all game. I haven't been happy with his effort lately but I thought he worked great today. Finishing wasn't great, but the work rate was back. Milner was fantastic, Lovren had the best half of his Liverpool career in the first, probably my MOTM. Lallana worked so, Clyne and Moreno were everywhere, Toure looked comfortable and composed... Honestly nobody had a bad game.

What a game! Klopp couldn't have gotten this more right.

In a week when the South Yorshire Police and the Ambulance Service were shown to be a disgrace to the country was there ever a more fitting way to give the families and friends of the 96 a massive thank you from Liverpool Football Club for their determination and tenacity.

Now go and win it for the 96 !!

Guys, if you haven't already done so, don't forget to give your player ratings on the thread here liverpool-fc-forum/resurrected-player-ratings-last-match-t30404-1125.html

That was exactly the type of powerhouse display that European teams simply cant replicate ,we just dismissed any threat they held by holding our ground like fucking Spartans ,the work rate and  intensity afforded by those eleven was immense in every sense of the word. Rummenigge's  words on Emre Can and the player he would become must be  now ringing loudly in the Bayern camp ,because that performance last night was phenomenal.  Then we have Firmino a player blessed with so much talent that he afforded the word 'mesmerising' new meaning ,some of the football he produced last night was mind blowing.

Milner was just everywhere and delivered a monstrous display ,and Lovren reminded me of a certain Dane ,composed and oozing poise and elegance ,last night he probably sweated dry ice .

Every player deserves to be lauded for that display it was precisely what we in the Kop had been praying for ........Life is beautiful  :D

It was an Excellent performance, and the credit goes to all the players. I thought CAN was the main man to push the team forward, he was outstanding through out the whole game, the other players did their part, apart from the shaky Moreno he is must improve otherwise he will be a constant liability.
All the best of luck for the remaining games and the final.
