Ps , Any links for the manure game?

lol

I have the opposite feeling.

I do think this will be tight game with some nail chewing moments, but i think we will nick this as they may play into our hands by trying to prove they are one of the big guns already.

Counter attacking goal wins it for me 2-1

Torres, Keane

Come on Liverpool

Rafael Benitez today hailed the return to goalscoring form of Fernando Torres and insisted his star striker was 'unbuyable'.
Torres will lead the Liverpool attack at Manchester City this afternoon looking to build on his double strike against Everton last weekend which continued the Reds impressive start to the season.

Benitez is aware Torres has admirers all over the footballing world - but he is adamant no amount of riches could tempt him to part with his star striker.

"He was a big price but we knew we were signing a young player who could improve," said the manager. "His value is higher now. He was a good signing in every sense.

"I would not want to swap Fernando with anyone else in the world because he is my player and I'm very pleased with him.

"There are good players in Europe and all the way around the world, but better than Torres - no.

"I do not want to put a price on him because people will think I want to sell him and that is not the case, so I will not say any price.

"I'm sure all the players have a value but not Torres. He is priceless to us. He is unbuyable."

He should have included Gerrard in the sentence, or we might have jealousy problems. :D

In all seriousness, I think those words are aimed to boost Torres' confidence and more importantly making him know he even expects more of him, there's room for improvement. I think those words will be very encouraging to Torres, he'll like those words, but also make him train even harder.

This isn't the game to :censored: around with the team...

Will be interesting to see if Benitez has actually learnt anything over the last few years... my bet is, he hasn't. This has draw (and a shoddy disjointed performance) written all over it should he :censored: around with the team.
