Carling cup semi final draw - manchester city vs liverpool

rather have home first tbh. going to the ehtiad first, means that they could have a 2 or more goal advantage coming here. would rather a tight 1st leg at ours , then make it more a a cup final in the 2nd leg with all to play for.

They did the draw yesterday behind closed doors when we went through with City.  They kept doing it until they had Cardiff set to go against Scum.   :laugh:

Oh well Citeh will be tough but Palace did Manure at OT  that's going to put a smile on the dial all day

First is on the 9th of Jan I think, second 23rd.

Anyway, I really wanted us to smash City in the finals, it would have been a great game and a great final, but on the other hand it is better to play 2 games against them, we've always been good playing two games... at least we were under Benitez.

Obviously the draw had been pre-fixed and they presumed that Man Ure would beat Palace.

Dont tempt fate mate, the way we have been going this season we beat Citeh and then get rolled by the minnow

Personally I would have preferred Cardiff in the semi and ending the dreams of Manchester slaying Palace in the final
