Going by SSN last night it seems Rafa let Sammy have them at half time and he let rip (or as SSN put it, picked the team up).
I still stand by that you got to give Rafa the credit for changing the way he sent the team out in the 2nd half.

that two and ahalf games now that we have got the ball wide and looked like a Team.

I still a bit woried that Rafa did not start with keane and did not send or team out right at the start playing the wide ball.
I said before the start of the game that it was going to be a very hard game if we dont play wide.........this dont mean that i am good at this stuff but if i know it why did Rafa not know it? Still some of the old Rafa left lol.
anyway credit to him and Sammy for the Half time teamt alk.

I havent read back to see the inevitible comments about how kuyt won us the game despite the fact torres two goals put us in that position, but come on even the biggest kuyr lover must admit he was woeful today (although he wasn't the only one).

skrtl looked nasty, let's hope aggar can lay off the ale but I am sure Sami can step in for the league games

maybe if kuyt hadn't been playing we'd have been 4 down at half time. maybe if keane had been playing we'd have been level. maybe if pennant had been playing we'd have been a couple of goals to the good. there's all sorts of ifs, buts and maybes we could consider but feck it, lets take the easy route and say it was probably kuyts fault.

kuyt was awful andy, but do you want me to say he was brilliant, maybe if more people say he was brilliant then he will be brilliant, is that what you are after or can i go on now with giving MY opinions. anybody who watched that game yesterday and says kuyt played well doesn't deserve to have their opinions respected in all honesty,

its nothing to do with taking the easy route, read the forum and you will see i dont just 'slate' kuyt for yesterday, but people seem to focus on kuyt comments because like it or not kuyt is an issue, he is a failed striker and he is a very poor winger, but if thats the standard of player you want in the team then dont be surprised when it all goes pear shaped

i don't want you to say he's brilliant peewee, because he's not and you would never say it anyway. we all know full well your thoughts about him as a player but it seems to be becoming an obsession. you often speak of your intelligence and your education and you revel in pointing out to people where you think they are lacking thought. however, as far as the kuyt issue goes it seems apparent to me that it is exactly where you stop thinking. there is hardly a football post of yours in the last few months where you haven't ignored the performance as a team, except maybe a passing remark, and have chosen to focus on having another pop at kuyt's peformance. if that is the only opinion you have to state then it has well and truly been stated.

Talk about a game of two halves. Reminded me a lot of the game away at Fulham when we were 2-0 downat half time and came back to win 4-2. Yesterday was pretty much the same. We were woeful in the first half and yet totally bossed the second.

Fantastic result all in all.

well you know andy i cant be bothered, how about you discuss the obsession of people who actually think he is a footballer, or the obsession of people who follow me around the forum trying to enter debate on kuyt and then moan that i am discussing kuyt.

its a bit too tedious to go back and forth with this one, i have stated my opinion on his performance yesterday, if you think my opinion is wrong please feel free to state your opinion on his performance yesterday.

it seems i am only allowed one overall opinion rather than have an opinion game to game on our players.

That was one of the best Prem games i've seen. I'm just glad i got a very good stream for the second half. Just goes to show we should never let our heads drop. Not saying we'll always win when we're 2-0 down at half time but when you have great players theres always a chance.
