Personally I think that he's gonna wait for Fergie's job. He will have lots of money at Man City but no tradition. He had that kind of job in Chelsea. Now he would want to coach a team which have tradition.

it seems more like he is ready to come to our club, a lot of ex players have had a good idea that he is coming in the summer. Rafa team have been having meetings with other clubs.

Fact , i have never cried wolf , all i have ever done is reported what I have heard or been told, i have always left it open for members to make their own mind up.

Have to say, as great a manager as he is, I'd feckin hate it if he went to Liverpool. The guy's a dick.

Mourinho is many things but one thing is for sure he will liven the place up if he arrived at Anfield. Yes hes a self publicist but this in turn will put Liverpool back at the top of the media agenda for football reasons.Another plus is that he speaks his mind, it may land him in hot water but we will know where we stand which is refreshing for us.Different strokes for different folks, but I would rather have a fella like Mourhino p*ssing me off once if a while in exchange for all the passion and headlines he will produce for the football club.Besides that the guys a good manager and for my money would be a breath of fresh air at Liverpool.

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has brushed aside concerns over the future of coach Jose Mourinho.

Former Chelsea boss Mourinho admitted on Tuesday that, while happy to be employed by the Nerazzurri, he was not enjoying his time in Italian football.

He told Sky Sports on Tuesday: "I don't like it, because they don't like me. Simple."

That was widely interpreted to be a strong hint from the colourful Portuguese tactician that he could be set for a return to management in the Premier League in the near future, while Real Madrid has been mooted as another possible destination.

Mourinho has endured a fractious relationship with the media and football authorities since his move to Serie A, with his antics not greeted with the same level of appreciation from the press as he enjoyed while in England.

Nostalgia

The former Porto boss signed a three-year contract when he was appointed in the summer of 2008 and agreed an extension until June 2012 after claiming the Italian title in his first season in charge.

Moratti expects Mourinho to honour his terms at Giuseppe Meazza and has put his latest protestations down to nothing more than 'nostalgia'.

"He's been saying that he misses England since the first day," Moratti was quoted as saying by Thursday's Gazzetta dello Sport.

"But he has a contract with Inter for two more years and maybe (it will be) even longer.

"Everyone makes their own choices, but I'm not scared and I don't fear his nostalgia.".

He received a £16,000 fine last month for claiming "everything was done for us not to win" following a 2-0 defeat of AC Milan, a game in which Inter had two players sent off.

Mourinho also said the game had left a "strange taste" in his mouth, adding: "I've realised they won't let us wrap up the championship early".

He subsequently received a three-game touchline ban and was fined £35,000 for "insulting officials" during a game against Sampdoria.

Mourinho also made a 'handcuffs' gesture after seeing Walter Samuel sent off and Ivan Cordoba booked during the 0-0 draw, with the gesture interpreted as him suggesting his side were being victimised by referees.

Reports in Italy suggested referees were prepared to go on strike if Mourinho was not given a severe punishment.

Also in February, Mourinho paid a £11,500 fine to settle a disciplinary case over an altercation with a journalist last December.

Mourinho has been linked with a return to the Premier League, where he won the title twice with Chelsea, with Manchester City and Liverpool both touted as possible destinations

Anyone that wants him at Anfield needs his head examined. He spouted the same sh1t when he lost as manager of Chelsea (always shaking hands with the players when his team won, crying like a baby when they lost). He is not a manager to build a team, he seems to carry an existing team but then it is always a matter of time before he burns bridges and wants to leave. For a team that needs stability he is not the one. We are too good for him, City is more his speed. His greatest managerial talent is making himself out to always be the victim, when in reality he has always had it relatively easily. He strikes me as having no heart fot the fight and bails out when the going gets tough. I cannot believe he stayed at Chelsea for so long.

Mourinho will come to the club if the money is right.
money for him to spend that is, it seem he is looking tpo spend around 120mil on building his team. not sure on what sort of time that would be, it now seems theres more chance that he could go to man city just due to that factor.

IT seems he has some sort of rider in any contract that he is given the money to build a team, now if he has been talking to our club in the background then G&H must know they will have the money to give to him or are playing him like they have the fans.

What I hate most about Mourinho is that he'll only bet on a sure bet beforehand.

And then when he gets twice the money in one summer than Rafa gets over 6 years and wins the league he is a ****ing hero and so much better manager. Just stupid logic as Rafa never got the chance with the kind of money Mourinho has had and wants.
