No chance in hell Guardiola or Moureen will come. Rijkard or Hodgson seems more likely.

It's all dependent on if we get investment and money to spend of the team. We can't expect the likes of Mourinho to be lured by the history of the club alone. We need more money for better players. Our own players are saying it ffs something needs to change. But that article is right, we need fundamental changes at every level.

It's just a thought but what about having Roy Evans again? I know things weren't as good after the 96 cup final but overall the team played under him the kind of football similar to the past all that was lacking was a couple of players to go the extra mile in the premiership. With this squad he could really mould the players into something great.

There's so many reasons why the foreign choices or the British ones would be either unsuitable or unlikely to come to the club. Dalglish doesn't really want the job again. Evans wasn't a great manager first time round but his record wasn't any worse in the league than his successors and coming from the bootroom his appointment in the summer could just be what the club needs.

Dilutes the vitriol  ??? in what sense Mick albeit from an obvious personal objective could that phrase hold any real relevance in your statement ,I am sorry mate but I am having real trouble comprehending your unique  interpretation that Benitez has a marked effect on the level of animosity directed towards the owners

Liverpool Football Club are literally on the verge of financial ruin ,and as a franchise no-one will touch us with a barge pole ,the fact that there is currently no funds for squad improvement is just merely another ridiculous episode in the life of team that in Football terms is steadily becoming a joke

Sometimes Michael I get the distinct impression someone else is posting in your name ,because this is so far away from the truth it can be the only explanation

We have about 201 threads about whether Rafa should stay or not. If Rafa went they could all be devoted to H&G out  :D Certainly at the moment our attention is divided between Rafa and our owners, get rid of either one and the other could then receive the attention they deserve (or not as the case may be   :D  )

What he said. I thought I explained it well enough in my post, but any ambiguity was explained right there.

no mate its more than that, stop looking at what the tv press are saying and try to work out what they are not saying about Rafa and where they think he will be next year.

Some time in the next 6 weeks Hicks will decide whether to declare himself bankrupt, RBS whether to call in the debt, Gillett whether to sell out to Indians or Arabs and Purslow whether to resign or not. Purslow will make an annoucement at half time in the last home game asking for contributions for Rafas transfer kitty and asking any brickies in the crowd whether they can steal bricks to build the new stadium. Paddies will be asked to stay over a few extra days and dig in Stanley Park. Item number 468 on the adjenda is Maureen, more specifically whether he should be on the club christmas card list or not. Any talk of Joss coming in as manager quite frankly is ridiculous.

We played very well and won the game 3-0 without Aquailani and he's still a muppet...  :O  Are you Aqualani's father or son? Does Aqualani's contract state that he has to be played every single game? So now Benitez has to make Aqualani a fixture in the team sheet no matter his condition, because we paid 20 million for him? Rafa probably made a mistake in buying Aqualani who looks like he can be 100% only next season. But being hard headed to accept this and playing him because of the price of his transfer is the daftest thing a manager should do.

Get real soft lad. This is one of the symptoms of the anti's that I just couldn't understand. Instead of enjoying the moment  after that kind of performance, you choose to be a negative and miserable t.wat.

"heyyyyyy... we totally demolished Sunderland and it could easily have been 6-0... but... Rafa didn't play Aquilani so he's a muppet!"  :no

Rafa did the right thing playing Gerrard in the mid and yes it was a wonderful game

But if Aquilini was playing then we could have attacked from both right and left side when against sunderland we did attack from the left side but mascherano didnt make a big performance like aquilini would have, i've seen aquilini play and him and gerrard in the mid, man you guys would be shocked on how good we would have been

but rafa was smart to play gerrard in the mid again, he should stay there

its much more effective

anyways still, couldnt ask for a better game

DID YOU SEE TORRES?!?!?!?!?!? THAT GUY WAS ON FIRE

and now it starts

I'm not happy in Italian football - Jose Mourinho

Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho has sparked speculation about his future in Italian football after insisting: "I don't like it and it doesn't like me."

Mourinho has not spoken to the Italian media for a month and was recently fined £35,000 by the Italian Football Federation for criticising officials.

"I am very happy at Inter but not in Italian football," said Mourinho.

The 47-year-old, who left Chelsea in 2007, has made no secret of his desire to return to the English game.

"I always speak with my heart but if I spoke with my heart now about Serie A I would be suspended," added Mourinho.

His comments came on the eve of his side's Champions League quarter-final first leg against CSKA Moscow.

Mourinho's Inter knocked out his former club Chelsea in the last round of the Champions League and are currently top of Serie A.

But his side have seen a healthy lead whittled down to just one point by Roma, to whom they lost 2-1 on Saturday, and three points by AC Milan.

He received a £16,000 fine last month for claiming "everything was done for us not to win" following a 2-0 defeat of AC Milan, a game in which Inter had two players sent off.

Mourinho also said the game had left a "strange taste" in his mouth, adding: "I've realised they won't let us wrap up the championship early".

He subsequently received a three-game touchline ban and was fined £35,000 for "insulting officials" during a game against Sampdoria.

Mourinho also made a 'handcuffs' gesture after seeing Walter Samuel sent off and Ivan Cordoba booked during the 0-0 draw, with the gesture interpreted as him suggesting his side were being victimised by referees.

Reports in Italy suggested referees were prepared to go on strike if Mourinho was not given a severe punishment.

Also in February, Mourinho paid a £11,500 fine to settle a disciplinary case over an altercation with a journalist last December.

Mourinho has been linked with a return to the Premier League, where he won the title twice with Chelsea, with Manchester City and Liverpool both touted as possible destinations
