Agreed, Rafs team selections are very strange, Maxi seems to be another of the undroppables. Babel offer far more than Maxi but can only get 10mins as sub.

Why do we pay 20 mill for aquaman and leave him on the bench every week, why play masc at Rb when Jonno was fit and Masc is far better as defensive midfield, why does Kuyt stay on so long when he was awful from the start. Why were we banging in crosses from midway in their half that are so easy to defend against, why cant we string more than three passes together, why fecking bother to write anymore i'm going to bed

I'll sum it up for you - One of our worst performances of the season, we played well for a ten minute spell in the first half.

Can't really say any player had a decent game - Krygiakos was the only one who stood out for me. Insua had his worst game (that i've seen in a red shirt) and confirmed (for me) that he isn't up to it at this level. Dirk wasn't far behind in the performance stakes, he had a shocker, Stevie was off the boil and looked disinterested, Torres and Jonno (when he came on) looked like players who have hardly kicked a ball in 2 months. Maxi was quiet and Babel got a whopping 8 minutes to come on and try and conjure two goals. Aquilani got 30 minutes and actually did ok but once again we continue to look clueless on the ball.

I don't know that our workrate when we lose it is so bad but as a team we make so little effort to make life easy for the man on the ball. NO OPTIONS, NO ANGLES, NOBODY SHOWS FOR THE BLOODY THING, NOBODY! players don't turn out (or don't get the call to) when they're in space, we don't run with the ball when there is a bit of space to run into, we don't release it quickly enough, we don't play the simple stuff with enough zip on the ball, and we regularly pass it into blind alleys and have no other option but to hit the hopeless channel ball (the kind they play every Saturday in park football) a team like Wigan eats for breakfast.

We're buggered lads and ladies, I don't think this bunch of players have any faith in the manager's methods, or any faith in eachother. Our rivals for 4th have got a total of 6 game sin hand between them and yet we don't get to play any of them again. I think we're fooked, I really do

At what point do you start blaming the manager? The same core of players do not become sh!t over night. Wake up and smell the coffee, forget getting the yanks out get the benign tumour turning cancerous (rafa in case you still can't see)

Where do we go from here? Well we just have to look to the next game now and try our best to win all our remaining games. I know it sounds like burying your head in the sand but until the end of the season we must MUST try and win all our games. There is a chance we could finish outside the top 4 and if that happens so be it but it hasn't happened yet so we have to keep on fighting.

Sorry but what do you mean there is a chance we will finish outside the top 4, I would think it's more or less a certainty now. 

For once i don't really blame Rafa's team selection, I quite liked the starting 11 and as usual we started brightly, failed to score in the first 10 minutes and then the heads dropped and we let Wigan into the game. After that we were very much second best, we were actually outplayed by Wigan ffs!

Totally agree that the players don't seem to care but you have to ask who's fault that is? anyway don't want to launch into a Rafa bashing thing, not tonight, I'm just very very disappointed.

What do you want mate? For us to sack Rafa now? Surely there is a potential for that to have a more harmful than good effect? Who would we get in? Would it be fair to even put something like this on Kenny?

He deserves till the end of the season to get 4th place. He has earned that much at least surely.
