We have reversed roles tonight, you think happy clappy, and I think with a bit criticism, I'm still thinking how we didn't make a timely foul to Walcott in their 2-2.

I thought that was it, but fortunately Liverpool are an outstanding team and made the miracle once again.

If Masch was world class he would have brought Walcott down  :D

another one bites the dust, how many times do we have to hear opposing players say anfield on european nights are nothing to be intimidated by , anfield when its a knock out  european night is like nothing anywhere in the world , abnormal things happen and opposing players want the ground the swallow them up when the final whislte blows  . :buttrock

Save the petty squabbling for another time, sit back pour your self a drink and relive every minute of that roller coaster of a match that, for me anyway was just as good as that famous night in Istanbul.

I am so proud to be a supporter of this amazing team and I can strut in to work in the morning to face all the United fans with my head held high, I suffered every kind of emotion possible in that 93 and a half minutes and because of that I refuse to critisize ANY player who was out on that pitch tonight. :bowdown  :bowdown  :bowdown

Holy shlt, still can't come down from the match. It was unbelievable. We didn't play well but our heart took over. Rafa will fix our problem and ready for next match. Kuyt and Skrtel were immense. Anyway, need to rest as my heart is still pumping like Babel's run. Anytime you get 4 goals pass Arsenal, it is an accomplishment in itself. Good night all as it is already 5 am in Hong Kong. Here we go Moscow! :buttrock:

Prior to Mascherano, Alonso had a chance to bring him down in Arsenal's pitch, which is a far better place to make a foul. Mascherano yes, he could, but he had a card (I thought, but no he adn't). Anyhow, Alonso should have done a foul before all that. It was a chain mistake.

No. What makes him world class is the facrt that he did not do that. His name is Mascherano, Not Simeone!

would have been the professional move in the circumstances to take him out at midfield considering the players pace, what a goal would mean and the amount of space he had

You must admit liverpool got very luky. That penalty decided the game. Could not have been a penalty easily. How about arsenals penalty in the first leg!!! That was 100% and they still didnt get it. Walcot with his amazing run! Liverpool are the lukiest things!!

Saying we always mone about the penalty why should we get over it when it should not have been a penalty and we didnt get ours. Would have been a different game all together.

Arsenal all the way!

You cant take you where luky.
