Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Sami was great tonight.

in truth we did not play well but we stuck at it and never gave up.

we need to pass better and some players need to take a long look at how they are playing.

We have reversed roles tonight, you think happy clappy, and I think with a bit criticism, I'm still thinking how we didn't make a timely foul to Walcott in their 2-2.

I thought that was it, but fortunately Liverpool are an outstanding team and made the miracle once again.

crouch played his part... so credit to him where credit is due... but after this showing I'm even less convinced about the crouch/torres partnership... they just go for the same balls most of the time...

if it had been a Man U player that got that Torres goal we would not here the end of it for weeks and weeks.

With or without the peno we'd have won 3-2, so it's a null debate really. All 3 other goals were taken without controversy.

During the game, I was thinking I haven't seen a team as good as that Arsenal team come to Anfield and destroy us so easily since Barca in 2001. Credit to them, they are a quality side.

But tonight it is about the redmen!

Maybe, i don't rate the scum in europe though, although if Barca is without Messi and Ronaldinho then they have a great chance of getting through. We'll see, that's if they even beat Roma without Rio and Vidic tomorrow. That's gonna be a tough match for them to get through.

Jesus !!! Lads and Lassies this is not a night for arguing and saying who played :censored:, every single one of them in a Liverpool shirt deserve every bit of credit after a game like that and that goes for the Manager also.

Save the petty squabbling for another time, sit back pour your self a drink and relive every minute of that roller coaster of a match that, for me anyway was just as good as that famous night in Istanbul.

I am so proud to be a supporter of this amazing team and I can strut in to work in the morning to face all the United fans with my head held high, I suffered every kind of emotion possible in that 93 and a half minutes and because of that I refuse to critisize ANY player who was out on that pitch tonight. :bowdown  :bowdown  :bowdown
