i cant believe that we still have no decent winger

pennant - not good enough, his saving grace was he played well in champs league final

kewell - not good enough, has lost his hunger
benayoun - ok against bad teams
babel - still very raw

Poor Torres. It's hard to have an impact when the ball your supposed to receive goes in the opposite direction.

Kuyt is awful. To me he never knows what to do. His out of position but even if he was where crouch was he wouldnt be any better.

Maybe bring Riise on - I know he had a bad game at Arsenal but he would strengthen our left side.

because gerrard has been put out on the left wen we decide to go to the right everytime = no gerrard/torres movement ..... its starting to really show

I don't think Pennant is too bad. I rate him higher than our other wingers.

Kewell is injury prone, Yossi loses the ball too much, ala Babel.

Pennant can hold the ball up and beat defenders - and as he showed against Newcastle, he can score . We need that. :laugh:

Yeah bring a winger on to get crosses in but take of our best ariel threat so he has no one to cross to

Keep the team the same they are over the "this is all new to us " phase now, I don't see any reason to change the team at all at the moment BUT......... if we are going to go two up top and bring Yossi on then take Kuyt off, or bring Babel on , take Xabi off and put Stevie in centre mid with Mascherano. But like I said I don't see any reason to hit the panic button just yet

Gerrard and Torres seemed to be playing really well together so not sure why rafa has changed it.

I agree we need to revert back to our normal formation, Gerrardneeds to play off Torres. Sub off Crouch and put in Babel or Benayoun

pennant is fine if we want to finish 4th, 5th or 6th

but pennant isnt good enough against the very best (that champs league final apart)
