Quietly optimistic that we've done some excellent business here. I was one who rated him when he was last with us and thought we got rid too soon. I think he'll arrive with a lot of fire in the belly to make the most of this second chance and I expect hope he's matured to the stage where the off-pitch shenanigans are a thing of the past. He'll undoubtedly work his socks off every second he's on the pitch and cause plenty of problems for opposition defenders. I trust Kenny will find a way to use him effectively, keep him content and on the straight and narrow. Welcome back Craig.

100% agree Bob, should turn out to be a solid if unspectacular adition to the squad to get those goals in teh last 15 minutes that make the difference between 1 point and 3. Lets not pretend - or hope - he's seen as a 90 minute player.

On this one, we have to disagree Bob.....
He is a good footballer but not the calibre and type of player that we need.
Likely, he'll spend a lot of time on the bench and I doubt he'll be too happy.

With his track record on behavioural issues, he could very easily disrupt the dresiing room. There has not been a manager around who managed to get the best out of him with the exception of Hughes and IM, that was only because he was being made to feel important and indispensible.

Hopefully he has matured with time and will prove me wrong and be an excellent addition to the club. At least I pray that this is the case. If Kenny can get the best out of him, he WILL be a welcome addition.

I'm not holding my breath though.

This time around, he won't be stranded far up the pitch after making intelligent runs with/without the ball. Kenny's style will suit him, pretty confident of this.

It was quite painful to see him up on his own with no one in support.

Fair enough, Con. There's no question he comes with baggage.

Time will tell if he works out. If I'm honest, my first reaction when Igor posted the rumour up the other day was "no" but ever since I've been growing to like the idea. Happy clappiness rears its head again!

so you think he came here expecting to start week in week out? if he wanted first team football he'd have gone to QPR or somewhere. he apparently turned down 6 other clubs to come back here,

personally i think it's an excellent option to have and i for one am delighted by it.

Welcome back fella. Won a shed load of cash night he scored at barca after the riise golf club saga. Hills were offering 20/1 that he would mimic a golf swing if he scored. Put 30 quid on it. When he scored after valdes :censored:

up and ran to corner flag I was praying and out came the imaginary golf club!! Paid for my trip to Athens. HAPPY DAYS. Except for the final.

Probably good business and has much more football common sense and intelligence than N'gog. He will definitely fit into KK's style better than Rafa's. I think he will be shipped in the Summer especially if we get Champions League footy next season as the front line will get bolstered significantly.

Bellamy brings many things to the team. He's a completely different dynamic to everything else we have in the squad and for what he's cost i'm well chuffed. He has attitude. He's feisty. He's funny. He's a character and he's a very good striker. Most of all though he has bags of experience that will be vital. Both Suarez and Carroll are very young players really.
