I reckon Bellamy is being signed for those away games during winter when in the past we dropped points.  He and Carroll could work the socks off defences and allow Suarez to come for the last 30 mins. to win the points.

I heard on Talk Sport that Bellamy deal is as good as done. He is coming back.

A big surprise, but at the same time this could well be a stroke of genius. Belly has a lot in the locker to offer and he loves the club as a lifelong fan.

Kenny will bring out the best in him for the couple of years he has left at the top of his game. He can also play out wide and is as tenacious as fook. If we get the good side of him mentally this may well be the bargain of the window for us.

That's how I see it as well.  I have a feeling that this will prove a shrewd bit of business if it comes off.

Kinell, just had a look on the interwebs...was it really 5 years ago that he signed for us the first time?  It seems like yesterday.  I'll never forget his performance away at the Nou Camp...scoring one and setting up his "golf buddy" Riise for the other.  That win was the key to getting to another CL final.

True. A very underrated night in that season.

The fact is he loves the club. He said very publically that he does not care what he does in football as he had lived his dream. Wearing a liverpool shirt and scoring in front of the Kop.

I just have a feeling that with all he has to prove to City as well as a lot of unsure reds he will really show what he can do. With the Kenny factor in their as well it looks good.

sums it up when 90% of the forum want to talk about a player who doesn't want to be here and has gone rather than one who does want to be herer and has signed.

welcome craig.

Welcome back Craig!!

Happy with this, great player to come off the bench and have an impact, against tired legs he will be very useful indeed!

Again, welcome back!

Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road
