More to the point, whats your team for the first game of the season?

liverpool should have a look at saudi arabia and tunisian players, im sure they wudnt cost much but could turn out to be realy effective.

Are you having a laugh?

I've heard there's a few tasty Faroe Islanders worth a look too

I am genuinely sorry that you have an infatuation with a nutty frenchman. Sorry he was a donkey at Anfield. Wasn't worth the paper of his contract.

I think you all should know already how Rafa "run" Liverpool. He has his own plan, let him "fly" and I sure belived next season will be a better season than last season.

Cant wait for the next season to start !

its because we took 11 million pound world cup gambles and got `undisclosed fee`s` back in re - sale value that we are in this financial mess.

i for 1 despised bellamys antics at newcastle but souness has lost dressing room everywhere hes been and his man management of bellamy dyer bowyer etc was woeful so now bellamy has Rafa in charge he will flourish into a goal machine. 25 goals next season

For all those bellamy doubters.........

Bellamy actually took a wage cut to join us. So what does that tell about his attitude ?

Have to say, i am estatic with this signing. Bellamy will be a massive improvement over morientes, cisse and baros (see, i am not as pro-baros as u guys make me out to be  :p ).

Heck, he is a major improvement over crouch too..

With Bellamy pulling defenders away with his hard running, gerrard, fowler and garcia will score loads of goals.

i am sure rafa is no fool... he would have spoken to the player at length (especially for someone with bellamy's reputation) before deciding that he would be a good fit to the team... not all of rafa's signings have been good, i agree... but i cannot think of one that had serious attitude problems and disrupted the team badly... played badly yes... but attitude no
