Craig Bellamy on loan! - An option?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I think most of this speculation is down to the fact that he said he was a Liverpool supporter as a kid and that playing in front of the kop would be awsome, probably trying to manufacture his own move with the sounds of it.

Bellamy is the last player Rafa would ever buy, he's attitude is a joke.

Seriously, if people are happy to overlook Bellamy's various indiscretions, but aren't prepared to do the same with Diouf, then I think they need to ask themselves some serious questions as to why that is.

Quite why we're talking about taking a player in on loan that hasn't had much football as a striker of late, when we've got a fit, healthy striker loaned out that's in top, top form, I have no idea.

Loan Bellamy, get diouf and la tallec back and at least we'll have some options.

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

I've always thought Bellamy was trouble.
There's no questioning his talent though when he's playing well.
Don't know if I'd compare his indiscretions to that of Diouf's, but he might still be more trouble than he's worth.
Then again, I always thought that Eric Cantona was a complete wan*er but look what he did for the scum under Ferguson.
It only takes one manager to get through to them and suddenly you've got a match winner back on form.

Do agree with the point about Diouf though - but let's at least admit that the lad was played out of postion for most of his time at Liverpool.  Loopy behaviour aside - he's starting to look a different proposition as a striker.

Maradonna was a druggie, Ronaldo is a party animal, Mutu is a coke fiend, Di Canio is a Nazi, Totti (like diouf) spits at everybody, Seedorf has hissy fits at any given moment, Best was a drunk and Ronaldhino has those teeth. Compared to these players, Bellamy's little moans are nothing and he is potentially a future great. He's still got a way to go, but i'd rather he was wearing a red shirt when he makes that transition.
