Superb game, we totally deserved the 3 points although Glen was a wee bit lucky with his challenge on Ivanovitch but then again then again how the feck did Maxi miss from 3 metres???

Anyway who gives a :censored:

, we beat the chavs in their backyard and Torres must now be feeling like a complete feckwit.

I would love it, just fecking love it if we can nick 4th spot from the chavs.

never mind berm, I,ve started 2 game threads v blueshite draw and stoke win! But after todays game which i predicted 2-0 ain't been so happy since we f.ucked Mancs 4-1. Better get used to it though. We were simply immense today with each and with every player bursting lungs to put in a performance it's difficult to believe that these are the same players that served under Hodgson. The difference is simply the King. The anointed one can do no wrong and with Clarke and Lee is proving to be a formidable team off the pitch.

Tickets were £55.90 each for the game and I let my mate take his Mrs. He has been a few less attractive fixtures this season for me so no complaints there. However I am now guaranteeing the result as well as the tickets !

Perhaps our greatest achievement today was not getting drawn into being baited by the departure of Torres. SKY did their utmost to paint the picture of an aggrieved team and manager intent on exacting revenge on Torres but we rose above the nonsense and conducted ourselves with real dignity and decorum.

Although some of our fans have lost a bit of perspective this week it was good to see that players and staff did not allow themselves to be baited however hard Sky tried !

Great performance today by the lads. Raul did it again, he's really proving to be a quality addition to the team (thanks Roy). Felt a bit sorry for Torres, the media has twisted his words to further anger the Liverpool fans. I know he respects the fans but he was just thinking about his career. Thats fine, i understand that, i'm just glad this ridiculous saga is now over and ecstatic that we beat the Chavs at the Bridge.

It was a poor game after so much hype but the most important thing is we've got a massive 3 points, won 4 games on the trot with 4 clean sheets

and now we can go and face Wigan with supreme confidence and a nice bit of momentum. I fancy us winning our next 3 games Wigan, West Ham (might be tough) and Man Utd :cool:

But i wouldn't get carried away with ideas of a Champions League spot... not yet anyway.

Its been a wretched season but the Anfield anthem rings true - at the end of the storm there's a golden sky.

Berm is a great tactician.

His only here when the team is performing well and things are going our way. Then he create a match thread..
