Liverpool Football Club - Games

Fulham made a game of it in the second half and I feared we might lose our way. I was delighted at the way we stood up to their pressure and hit back. Real character and belief shown by the team.

Away game, against a Fulham team who haven't lost at home in 2011 and who haven't conceded too many goals at home either, without Gerrard, without Andy Carroll, 18 year old in defense... had a 0-0 written all over it.

well done lads. this would've been 0-0 or a 1 or 2 nil defeat during the first half of the season.

I heard last night that young Flanno has never played in a reserve game, hes came straight out of the youth team into the first team. I don't know if this is true or not but thats astonishing. He looks so accomplished, and he's only going to get better
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Well done Reds.... old shadows are reawakening.

I know most of the media went with the description "Magnificent
Reds destroy Fulham " Although I hate the scribes in the nationals it was heartening to read them eulogizing about Liverpool again .....good times ahead Reg
