I think that's a good strategy as GJ is our best natural winger. But it's also an opportunity for Kuyt to play his way back to form against a team we should throttle. I'd say start GJ at right back, bring on Kelly for Kuyt, in the 2nd half - move GJ to RM
Johnson is nowhere near a natural right winger - he is an attacking football who takes advantage of space created by a right mid tucking inside and overlapps . It's totally different being a right back and right winger - he wouldn't have the space
Totally agree Benny, but it's that attacking intent we have to show, especially against teams like WBA. We need to dominate them in the final third, players like GJ can do that for us. If we play anything less than attacking footy it will give WBA the confidence to start playing and no doubt give us a few problems.
