somebody should tell kuyt that so he spends more time with a football in training rather than on the treadmill.

I guess you haven't seen him play for Holland lately, cause that's exactly what he's been doing.

Ripped from RAWK and the lad says it as well as I could:

"Was last night selected for his 31st successive match for Holland, the longest streak by a Dutch outfield player for 49 years.

Some :censored: achievement that for a so called ' :censored:' player.

Congrats Dirk lad"

True gentlemen, was a nice touch seeing him giving Pepe and Fernando his congratulations and a nice big hug each. Gracious in defeat, bad luck Dirk.

After the shift he put in for us last term + the shift he has just put on for Holland at the WC he'll be needing a 3 month rest. Awesome workrate from the lad. Roy - take heed and get him up top from the start of the season.

The only reason to put him up front is if we have absolutely ZERO other options. Allegedly we have strikers on the way...

Kuyt had a great world cup and done us proud. Lets hope he brings that back with him for next season.

Kuyt did terrific, whilst the English players were supposedly too tired Dirk had a long season and ran himself ragged for his team.

Not sure what he means when he blamed Webb for the final defeat though as the Dutch could easily have had 3 men sent off.

I sense the Dutch thought the Spanish went down to easily and were trying to get the Dutch sent off, the Spaniards felt the Dutch should have been shot on the spot for their tackles.

Patently obvious from the beginning of the game, the spanish were going for cards. After one incident I counted 6 spanish round the ref.....   :veryangry  its not the way to win a world cup final.

The foul on Elia at the other end of the pitch was not given, Spain countered and scored after. As well as the diving from Spain..

Couldn't believe Webb got the final.  I told my dad he'd ruin the occasion and i was right.
Hasn't done Liverpool any favours in at least 2 seasons now.

A few games in the championship might be needed.
