this "striker" is a joke and clearly needs to be sold. Benayoun and Riera on the wings, Gerrard behind Torres and Aquilani and Mash in midfield, with the Italian and Gerrard switching roles as and when. we do not need any beachballs like Kuyt!

same here...either play him in the striker role or shipped him off. He just dont make the grade as a right mid/wide player.
Sicked of hearing he runs a lot or he dropped back to defend or whatever...he is a striker in nature, he should be scoring goals instead of preventing goals.

Something I thought of for sometime: Remember before Torres when Kuyt was a supporting striker to Peter Crouch? Why has Benitez pulled him down to the flank? Kuyt is good for heading crosses in the box as he has a good priority in the air, so why not make him support Torres instead of playing RM and have someone else play there? Kuyt is certainly better than NGog when it comes to being a supporting striker.
