And you clearly missed his assist in the last dutch game, but then it can't have happened because he never controls the ball and therefore must have lost possession just before he somehow crossed it. He didn't beat the defender for pace either, but he didn't need to, yet some seem to talk of that as if it is the be all and end all of playing out wide, or perhaps it's just Kuyt will never be quick and because that is his only real weakness then that is what the bashers have to focus on since noone can argue he is quick

I guess the dutch coach must be an idiot, what with the dutch persisting with Kuyt and as a consequence only reaching the final ffs

excuse me for giving an opinion. yes you're right - his only weakness is his lack of pace 

hatred of kuyt? - i actually think he seems a great guy, but i'm not keen on his style of play. from what i've seen over the past seasons, i find him hugely irritating as he breaks our own play down in the final 3rd. i honestly believe that if we had a decent 'traditional' pacey winger, they'd contribute all that kuyt does and more - what evidence do you have to suggest otherwise? no, i didn't think so - so get ur head out of ur ar5e and look beyond ur own nose.

Which traditional pacey wingers score more and create more goals than kuyt over the last couple of seasons ?

you seem to forget that Kuyt was signed as a STRIKER....the only reason he's been pushed out wide is because he was utter sh!te in front of goal and we were low on opions.

I would sell him now. At 30, and with the Dutch world cup, he would fetch a few quid and i would replace him with a WINGER.

so there is no way we can replace Kuyt. 

One of our major failings last season was lack of width and pace. We would try and play everything through the middle because, quite simply, we have no wingers.

We need someone with a creative spark and a spring in their step. In fantasy football land, i would sign Robben. But anyone with pace and a good left foot would suffice.
