Yossi hasn't travelled with the squad, so it will probabley be Mascherano Gerrard in the middle with Babel and Kewell on the wings

i'd be happy with that.  Why hasn't Yossi travelled?

They said on radio city that kewell's out for 3 weeks with an injury. They even implied it was good news!  :D

Pity Yossi doesn't start...if only 'cause I picked him in my rafa selection team!

My team would be:

               Reina

Finnan Carragher Agger Riise

Pennant Alonso Gerrard Babel

        Torres
                    Kuyt

I believe every Liverpool fans wants nothing but for the club to be victorious today. But we have to be realistic with our expectation right now because of the performance so far I can hardly said it is too positive.

The team (Rafa) need to decide quickly which direction Liverpoool will go. Are we going to be attacking minded like the other top teams or we are going be the same (defensive minded). At the moment I see Rafa undecided and this will cause huge amount of problem as the players will be confused as well. We have to choose either one else the team will not be doing both...

Least some people start jumping about only being attack minded. It doesn't mean replacing defenders with strikers. No one going to stop defending. Just that there must be changes to strategy, style, attack formations and much more.. Tactical changes.

Being attack minded has its defensive advantage, opposition tends not to attack so much if you are better than them. Brazil tends to out score their opposition, and their oppostion tend to put more men on defense. Brazil's defense is not that great but because their opposition tend to defend, they dun really need it great anyway. Only when you can't score that you will see your opposition start attacking you....

When the player sheets is out we will know if we are playing defensively or going for the gusto. If we go for the win, we may win. But if we are not sure (not going forward but yet not really defending) the we will draw (boring game). If we play defensively (with Sisoko) we will lose.

The season will depends on the gaffer what his plan for the team is, to go for a win by attacking or play defensively every game (there must not be a middle- a confused state)... If we attack we got chance, if we play the same as last season we will be out of contention within the first 10 games. And please Rafa, no more excuses for poor performance...

I'll go for a 2-0 win although I have the feeling it'll be a close (boring) game.
