We've been able to watch him in the prem for years and surely anybody could see he's not worth that money

i :censored: expected him to play as a striker, not lost in the wings

I said it before we even signed him to people to expect him to be playing wide left at times and people either laughed or told me to f*ck off. Here's a fact: he'll only play out there (like he sometimes does for the Republic regardless of what the so called experts say) when the set-up demands it. Loosing Torres did not help Keane's - or Rafa's - cause today at all. Keane was bought as a support striker, and this is where he will play most of his matches. I just wish people would stop being drama queens and spitting the dummy just because he played three quarters of one f*cking away match out wide.

We BOSSED the game against Villa. Our defence was rock solid. Villa have one of the best attacking teams in the PL and Skrtel and Carragher had them sorted all game. The problem was we lacked imagination on midfield. That might be why Yossi came on. It's something we need to sort out, but it's something that CAN be sorted out pretty easily. It's not like we're defending like shyte and have no hope. Maybe we should have got 3 points, but we didn't. We didn't deserve them - no shots on target, speaks for itself.

People need to stop living in a bubble. 7 out of 9 aint bad. We're undefeated and have gone to two tough away grounds already. We have an international break now, which is a very good thing imo. It gives Rafa 10 days or so to look back over our past games and see where we've gone wrong and how we can improve and get the passing movement flowing again.

bossed the game?  We created nothing

Well we went there "DO NOT LOSE THIS MATCH" if only Rafa see clearing that "WE CAN WIN THIS MATCH" and of course played the player at the right position ....

Robbie Keane ? £ Twenty f'ucking million ??? , might at times have looked a bit classier than his team mates but call me picky,  I expect more for that kind of money.

Dossena ? we spent money on him for what ? he's better than Aurelio or even Risse ?

Only plus points, despite no Gerrard or Torres, Villa where still not good enough to beat us.

Your a nut job dossana looked good when he got forward.

You guys remember these players are following what rafa tells them he sets up the team to play like this when doss got wide he put in 4/5 balls was very good just poor movement in box plus good defending.

I must say he looks more a left midfielder then left back.

To say dossana was poor is stupid he was very good in my eyes one of best on pitch today.

Mabye reason rafa didn't take him off.

Who said he was poor ? the question was why did we spend money on someone who looks no better than Aurelio or even Riise.

and using Rafa's sub decisions today hardly supports your argument.

He was only player they tryed to get some width in the game he made nice runs pinged good balls in i feel you not giving him a fair chance.

If i was him way we lose ball every time we go forward i woyuld be worried about bombing forward more.

More so if you got rafa before games going now lads sit back and don't push to hard.

As bad as we've been playing, no one has been able to beat us.

Today, we had no Gerrard or Torres, and the supposed "ready-to-break-into-the-top-four" opposition did nothing to threaten us.

i thought it was going to be another last 10 mins win..Played not bad just needed quality up front. mancs are up next just hope gerard and torres are fit for the match otherwise will be just playing for the draw..I hope these mediocre performances dont go on for too long. We need a good performance win.

Tbh tho if you play with 10 defenders it hard for other team to score , this is sort of setup i exspect to see from Wigan last season vrs us or arsenal.

Good thing we've got an international break.

Torres can rest and recover.

who cares what the performance was like, it is a decent result. Last year, Villa beat Chelsea at home, hopefully they will beat either Chelsea or man u or both.  What is the point in talking about how we played when we didn't have our two best players?

If we would have had a great performance today and so did villa and we still ended up with a draw, what difference would that have made? we are about to go into an international break so its not like we could have directly  carried that momentum into the next game.

OK you win ... Bravo , Liverpool didn't lose today's match (That's the most important thing in football) ... but the headline for today is that SWP score 2Goals.

Over the last couple of season, we are always in the top 3 or 4 on shots on goal. But the first few games hardly created any chances against some so so team. Also, this seems to be the slowest team that we have in awhile. The right side was completely non existent. I think we as fans have reason to worry. At the same time, we are in a good position right now and let's all forget all the negatives now. Just assume the season will start again. The positive is we played better going back to 4-5-1. Hope we will play an organize and more effective game next time. The only team that is playing well is Chelsea while all the rest more or less playing sh1t right now. Be cool!
