If you not playing week in week out its not that you don't want to play for the club it can be hard trying to picture you self in line up and need your confidence built up.

I not saying they need to be wraped up in cotten wool but the managers job is to not only get them focused like he always says but to get a good feeling going to make them want to give 110% every time they get a chance.
