Maybe we should do a compilation of his good, bad & ugly points.

Good
1)Runs around for 90 mins (headless chicken)
2)Stops the fullbacks and wingers from attacking (a defensive winger)

Bad
Where can i start....hahhahahahh ....slow, his 1st touch, his constant breaking up of our attacking play...etc

ugly
Stu's words...not mine......sloth like face....

You don't find him attractive? Which of our players do you fancy?

eh.....so u find kuyt attractive ?  :lookaround   :wwww

No, but I don't rate footballers by attractiveness. Maybe you and stu pm each other wbout legs and stuff but i prefer watching the football   :D

Yeah....whatever....

Btw.....think spurs are gonna get relegated this season. Not sure why i am bringing this up now ....  :p

Dirk Kuyt must have killed a black cat, walked under fifty ladders and smashed a hundred mirrors.
All the fella sitting next to me kept saying over and over yesterday was "unlucky Dirk" right through the whole of the game.
Is he really that unlucky or can we safely say, big heart, nice fella aside, he has got to be one of the most talentless players we have ever seen in a red shirt?
I mean BAD.
He seems a smashing lad who loves LFC but, truthfully, what a waste of space he is.
Frustrating is not the word. Once again Rafa refuses to take him off
Baffling.

That doesn't matter, the knives are out and no matter who has a stinker, what happens in the course of a match etc, you can guarantee Babel, Keane and Kuyt will be more discussed than the rest put together.

Yes, Kuyt has bad games, but so do others. Most of the bitching is because he starts more than others do. But frankly what happens when Benayoun, Babel etc and the other alternatives come in? Not an f in lot. When Dossena was hounded out of the team there was Aurelio or Insua who both do/did decent jobs. Short of playing Gerrard RM, the options are Riera, Babel and Benayoun - Riera would mean taking him off the LM and probably playing one of the other two who shouldn't be near LM or RM. Pennant is out of the picture, if he was ever in it. I think we will see the best of Kuyt once Rafa gives up playing him alone up front and stops f in changing the f in team, f in tinkerer

Why would he stop tinkering?
Thats what he does
We know it
The opposition know it
Everyone knows it
Thats his style
Total control

Kuyt is not good enough for LFC, neither are Benayoun, Lucas or Dossena.

Is it any wonder we've won feck all premiership titles, we keep buying the same dross over and over!

We can go on whacking Kuyt all day long but at the end of the day, barring any injuries or any major fallout - which is unthinkable, his name will be one of the first in the starting 11 as long as Rafa is the manager. Kuyt is a hardworking player, no doubt about that. He can run all day long and he can close down players. But besides all these qualities, he has none other. He can't pass, can't score, can't win headers, can't cross, slow and has zero flair and creativity.

Why Rafa favours him is a mystery to me. A BIG, frustrating mystery. I can't remember Rafa criticizing Kuyt. I remember Rafa criticizing Torres in the League Cup exit against Spurs, I remember Rafa curbing well-deserved praises for Gerrard. But never Kuyt! And Rafa will always be the first one to lavish praises on Kuyt the moment he scores a goal - like a groom lavishing sweet nothings to his bride. It's obvious Rafa has 2 favourite players - Kuyt and Carragher. And it is his blind faith in an average player like Kuyt that will bring about his downfall. I can see a worrying sign in Rafa - his stubbornness which is somewhat similar to Houllier before his downfall. Good luck!

I personally think he runs all day yeah but since his time at club I really do feel he has lost 1-2 yards of pace which is a worrie maybe he is tiered ?

He really don't look as sharpe any ways as he did last season or even 10 matchs ago.

Kuyt has been one of my favourite Liverpool players and I've always defended him in the past but now I'm finding it difficult becase he is so off-form at the moment. I think we should rest for at least a couple of games but there isn't really anybody who can come in at RM, I'm not a fan of Benyanon and Babel is :censored: at the moment.

Rafa obviously sees Kiyt as an integral part of the team so why all the talk of getting rid of him. He is the one player after all that never gets dropped. :D

He really showed his quality yesterday when he came on, hopefully he can go on another scoring run now like he did earlier in the season.

Wasn't he on for more like 35 mins? Anyway, he was crucial in the win, he even farted when Torres headed the winner and that put David James off! If Babel hadn't borrowed the shooting boots Wobbie Keane left behind, it would have been a goal and assist and maybe we wouldn't have been struggling so.

and Bavlondon - what was that about Kuyt "never gets dropped"...................?
