How can people actually compare Berbatov and Kuyt? First off they have never played in the same side so lets be honest there's no fact Berbatov would shine at Anfield or Kuyt wouldn't of banged in 40 goals a season at Spurs. Secondly they play football completely different, Berbatov is all flair, Kuyt is simple (yes pun intended :D ) Thirdly, since about Februray of this year Dirk Kuyt has been a right winger where Berbatov has been a right whinger (yes again pun intended, laugh whenever you feel free). And finally different teams and managers want different things.

The two aren't comparable (no two players are comparable in my opinion as every player is different) and it's a waste of everybody's time, engery and will power to compare these two.

My personal opinion on Kuyt is he runs a lot (obvious I know) and doesn't give us a great deal of quality down the right flank. He scores goals in Europe from time to time but isn't consistant enough. There are better options for a right winger out there (Bentley, Young, Gerrard, Anderson, Kyle Lafferty, El Zhar to name a few) but at this moment in time Dirk Kuyt is Rafa Benitez' first choice on the right wing so we all should respect our manager's decision and try supporting Kuyt with an open mind rather than with the mentality that he's going to play :censored: just because he has in the past.

Not at the moment mate, all it does is delay the inevitable sale of our club. We may as well have a few good memories of lifting trophies as put money in those two tw@ts pockets.

GYBS let me ask you something mate, without you going off on a sulk, is a person's football ability based solely on the Champions League to you? Because I would like to remind you that there are four competitions in which Liverpool Football Club took part in last season, not just the Champions League. So maybe broaden the horizon and look beyond that one competition and you may see football on the whole in a completely different light.

All the more reason to play Dirk less often in the league or we may not qualify next season.
