Just starting to calm down ( a bit ) ive had phone calls off Scum mates saying how lucky they were like that helps ! I heard even Fergie said the same !!.

But at the end of the day we lost , blame it on missed chances or not kicking to the KOP second half but it still doesnt change the result.Had they not of won im sure they would point to the blatant Saha penalty ( even if it was given and converted though we still had enough chances to of won 4-2 )

We need to learn from them and to somehow get that ability to turn a bad performance into a winning one that never say die attitude, ive just watched the Chelsea match and they have it ( even jose said the Scum were lucky ) but until we get that we wont win number 19

There are plenty of possitives to take from todays game and i am sure that if we play the same way against Barcelona then we will go through, there is no way we can be THAT unlucky twice !

The new faces that are sure to arrive next season will hopefully turn us into genuine contenders but for now we need to look forward to tuesday and NOT let this result affect what is our only chance of some silverwear this season

Finally how thick is Andy Gray ? I cant believe someone that stupid is Skys football expert. He said a top keeper would of pushed the free kick away from danger !!  there was 20 players in or around the 6 yard box where the f.uck was he supposed to have pushed it to

Was you losing like that today a blessing in disguise for Tuesdays game? Playing so well only to then cruelly lose the game. That must really have hurt the players and in turn fired them up even more for Barca.

Absolutely f.ucking gutted today.  We dominated for long stretches of the game, nullified Rooney, Ronaldo, Scholes, Giggs, Larsson and Saha and created some fantastic chances--at least one of which we should have buried.

But, the second we gave that free kick away I knew we were hooped.  It's always the way with that shower--do feck all for 90 minutes and then pop up with a jammy goal at the death to steal 3 points.  The day we develop that killer instinct is the day we become true challengers for the league.

Puzzled as hell by the Bellamy substitution and would have liked to see Sissoko come off sooner--his touch and passing were well off today and what good is he to us popping up down the flanks with the ball at his feet?  He's not going to put the ball into the box out there and he's occupying space that could be filled by more attacking players.

This result's gonna hurt for some time but I'm well proud of the lads for 90% of their play today.  Let's hope they take the positives away and dust themselves before Barca come to town.

I'm worry that we might lose to Barca and we might end in 4th at the end of the season if we going to played like that.

Then think about Tuesday night, with the Kop as loud as it was today and picture the scene as we knock out the holders of the trophy and the so called best team in the world!

Ok, slightly over the top but even before this game I always thought we'd have more chance of beating Barcelona than United. And as long as we win on Tuesday (which is by far the most important of the two games) than I'll be very happy. What would of been bad is if we'd of played like we did in the away fixture earlier this season and faced Ronaldinho Messi and co with no confidence, but with a performance like that under a belts I think we'll be alright for Barca.

Or it might not work like that, I'm just looking for any positives to take out of today.

Dirty Sniping Bast.a.r.d.s ! Its no suprise any more tho is it.
Totally outplayed them , what a :censored:.e team they really are.
Youre right Murph, worst championship winning team ever, and with the ugliest captain - the hideous creature that he is.

They hate Mourinho for dancing down the touchline they say , and that red nosed cun.t does exactly the same thing in every game ... We should have wiped the floor with that lot today. Amazed at Bellamys substitution too, he was annoying them , as much as the ref was annoying me!!

Bring on Barcelona!
