CHARLTON VS LIVERPOOL - ALL DISCUSSION HERE

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby metalhead » Sat Dec 16, 2006 4:06 pm

I watched the last 25 minutes, am I really Liverpool's good luck charm?  :D

Well we did lose some of our concentration in the last 20 minutes or so, but thankfully bellamy scored a beautiful goal! it was a nice half volley. Then Gerrard, finished it off! well taken too.

3-0.. good 3 points, i wished for a 4th, we would have been winning a hattrick of wins 4-0!!!

Best peformance this season.  Bellamy deserved the man off the match for me or maybe Xabi Alonso.

Happy with the way the lads kept pressing even when it looked like another goal wasn't gonna come, to be honest I thought Stevie had a quiet one by his standards, he tried one or two fancy flicks in the first half that didn't come off but showed with his finish that teams cannot leave him with any sort of room. Bellamy worked his socks off and deserved the MOM to go with his good finish.
Funniest part of the game: when Bellamy tried the Ronaldinho pass whilst looking the opposite way, it fooled the Charlton defenders but it also fooled Crouchy who it was intended for but totally didn't read it! Nice.....

Good result but until the second goal went in was dreading we might pay for all the missed chances . Three wins on the bounce 11-0 , at last showing what we're capable of .  :)

Good ole jimmy gave us a great boost. I think it would have been quite difficult if we didn't get that penalty early on. We created so many chances it could have been 5 easily. So pleased to see Bellamy score (and great finish) he and Kuyt worked really hard all game. Gerrard had a great game aswell. Starting to get a run going now and we aren't conceeding its looking good.
