Haven't watched the game yet, but it seems like the same old story all over again, same as last season same as the ones before. Dominate the game, can't score, they get one at the def.

Its always next season we will do them, but it doesnt seem to fall for us. We always seem to look one season away or one goal poacher aways from the prem and end up finishing forth. Its really starting to get at me now, when will it finally come?

Roll on Tuesday...

:suspect:

I wouldn't  be to over confident about tuesday...we still have a lot of work to do....like finding the net when it matters...no use dominating the game for 89mins...then falling to a sucker punch eh?...we dont want to go through that again!!. :no

And they call us Scousers robbers ???

Whilst the team that win the title deserve to, sometimes teams win games that they don't deserve and today was such a game.

Liverpool dominated in every area bar the most important one namely goals ! ???

Where do you begin to explain the result today ! We dominated possession, created enough chances to win by 2 or 3 goals yet came away with nothing.

If Utd represent the bets thats to offer in the Premiership then God help football!

I would still like to know why gerrard turned us around when it was obvious we won the toss up for ends......we always kick towards the kop in the 2nd half given the chance?...i knew the omens were bad when we didn't do that.   :oh:

Apparently the sun is brighter in the second half than the first. :grinning:

If thats gerrards excuse.....then its a poor one...when has a Liverpool captain ever chose not to kick into the kop end in the 2nd half...it gives us a psycological edge...the mancs couldn't believe their luck when he did that. :veryangry

Why would we want to make money on our players? Unless they want to leave or they are rubbish. I we had to part with Alonso to get a decent finisher I wouldn't accept it.

I totally understand your point, we aint a selling club and never will be. But..its gonna take some good negotiating for Barca to part with Eto'o, and they are interested in Alonso.  We have good CM players so to sacrifice one to get one of the best strikers in the world may be a neccesary evil.
