I'm going to this game, can't wait, I fancy us to win it.

BTW Really like the look of the new forum and the fact I can post on it again, after a rather lengthy exile :-)

This has draw written all over it.  Another frustrating night ahead I fear.

Everton will smell blood, and will run through brick walls to get Moyes his first win at Anfield to celebrate his ten years.  Losing four on the trot, Everton going above us, and just losing (or drawing) to Everton should be motivation enough for all our players.

I'd play

              Reina

Johnson  Carra  Skrtel  Enrique

Kuyt   Henderson  Spearing  Downing

              Gerrard
                          Suarez

Adam deserves a "rest" after his Sunderland showing and Coates frightened me to death.  A derby game may well do the same to him!

We are in need of goals, and therefore need to put our best player up top where he can do most damage.

I'm sure Kenny will go for a local presence in the line up. Expect Gerrard, Spearing, Carragher and Kelly all to feature.

I personally would like to see -

Kelly     Carragher     Skrtel     Enrique

Kuyt     Spearing     Gerrard     Bellamy

           Suarez     Carroll

Hard working side with no inclination of pulling out of a tackle. These derby days are never tame.

this is a big big game and the pressure not to get beat will be intense.
i wouldnt have henderson, downing or adam starting in this one as they will be swallowed by the atmosphere.

Yes, I think I'd go along with that. Not sure about the midfield, but plenty of players in there who'll understand what the derby means.

Yep, I like the look of the lineup. Wouldn't want Adam, Downing and Henderson to start. Maybe bring Adam and Downing on for some of the 2nd half.   I'd like to see Maxi on though for some creativity which we really need at the moment.

I hope it's more than that, something like 5 or 6 or more. I just want us to really batter the opposition for once
