25-09-10 Liverpool 2 - 2 Sunderland
28-03-10 Liverpool 3 - 0 Sunderland
17-10-09 Sunderland 1 - 0 Liverpool
04-03-09 Liverpool 2 - 0 Sunderland

Sunderland's Players to Watch
Stephane Sessegnon, Sebastian Larsson and Nicklas Bendtner. As a trio, they have scored 14 goals and made 13 assists for Sunderland.

Sunderland Stats
They have won 1, drawn 2 and lost 2 of their last 5 home games.
Their heaviest home defeat this season was 1-0 and 2-1.
They have not had a victory for the past 3 games.

Sunderland Injuries
Wes Brown, David Vaughan and Titus Bramble.

Liverpool's Players to Watch
Luis Suarez. His performance against Arsenal, was a clear sign that he's back to his best. His dribbling skills and ability to get out of tight positions in the penalty box are insane!
Martin Skrtel, our biggest threat from set pieces. Won't be surprised to see him score.
Craig Bellamy and Dirk Kuyt should be singled out as well.

Liverpool's Stats
Won 3 and lost 2 of our past 5 away games.
We have not won more than 2 games in a row this season.
We have not had a victory in our past 3 games.

Liverpool Injuries
Steven Gerrard and Glen Johnson could be back for this game but Daniel Agger and Lucas Leiva are definitely out.

I'm going, we'll win
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Definitely.  Especially Sessegnon.

GOing to be a really tough game.  MON has turned them completely around, and even tho they've had a tough run of games, they'll be up for it.

Dear LFC supporters,

Hi, I am from Malaysia, I will be visiting Liverpool from 13 to 15/3/2012, I am really excited and looking forwards to meeting some LFc supporter, currently I am trying to get myself ticket for the match against everton, since this is my 1st time to Liverpool, I am not qualified to purchase ticket because I have yet to attend any match this season.

Thus, I would be appreciate if any supporter would have any suggestion or alternative on how I could get the match ticket for me & my wife?

Thank you very much for anyone who would help me as I would love to have the lifetime experience of a match at anfield.

Let's hope KD won't be the next manager to get the sack. It's very EASY to get a draw or even a win against Liverpool nowadays. Just park 8 men in front of your goal and Liverpool won't score against you because they don't have any players in the category of RVP, Aguero, Rooney to put the ball into the back of the net. This strategy  has been proven to work with almost cetainly and sides like Sunderland, Norwich, Swansea, Stoke at Anfield and even Cardiff at Wembley have proven it. And can even steal a win like Arsenal did by catching their defence off guard with a skillful goal poacher when their defence is caught napping. Oh, last but not least, if their player looks certain to score in the pen. box just foul him because many refs are stubborn against giving away penalties and even if they do, they don't have any good penalty takers and won't likely to score. Plus their luck is sh.it and they will hit the bar and post countless times.

As it gets later in the season I think we will get stronger and stronger mainly because of the size of the squad. The likes of maxi will be relatively fresh and is an outstanding talent

In terms of selection I'd stick with the same that Played v Arsenal. They all played outstanding and will have something to prove

Sunderland are a great side under oneil however I think his positivity will be his downfall

Postby red till i die!! » Mon Mar 05, 2012 11:37 am

ive given up trying to predict scores in our matches as i rarely get it right and we rarely put the ball in the net anyway:D
they will be tough to break down as they will sit and frustrate us but if we start bright and we do find the net early then it could very well be open season on them.
play like we did first half against arsenal but add an end product and we should leave convincing winners.

It's nice to be able to post again after months of being locked out by daring to try to change my email address - thanks for the upgrade which seems to have fixed that.

It seems our stop start season goes on, with good results followed quickly by poor ones.

A loss here would really sink us deep into mid table mediocrity and I'm expecting (hoping for) a good performance and a result to match unlike the last league game where we dominated and got mugged.

I'd play

                Reina

Johnson  Coates  Skrtel  Enrique

    Henderson Gerrard  Adam

       Kuyt   Suarez   Bellamy

I'm assuming Gerrard is fit, if not Spearing plays.

my fourth away of the season and generally don't know what to expect, although we'll probably miss a penalty, hit the woodwork four times and then get suckerpunched.

is the beach ball suspended aswell? :D
