off with kuyt and hendo for suarez and merieles.
arsenal are capable of just one piece of magic to open us up where as we are grinding out half chances and struggling for creativity in the final 3rd.
the best for us so far have been enrique and downing

Its kinda embarrasing when Carroll falls down every time those kids are near him.

Enrique has been better than henderson going forward for sure. Kelly looks pretty good too. Agger as well. I feel ok about the start. Better than the second half against Sunderland. Always be better than your previous half and we did that. Now have to play like we did first half against Sunderland more often though.

I actually thought we did well, we dominated possession, especially that we are playing at the Emirates, we aren't doing any defensive mistakes (for now) and Enrique and Downing are making some good runs. The only problem is that Charlie Adam and Lucas are so f*cking poor in the middle

Time to bring on some players with pace - Suarez, Miereles, even Maxi for Henderson...

No one in particular was that poor imo, but we just lack consistency and ideas with this particular lineup.  Downing and Enrique are the only ones that seem to be doing their jobs everyone else looks somewhat confused.

Apart from Carroll's header and Henderson's header right? ???

I wouldn't call a soft header from Carrol and even a softer header from long distance by Hendo a REAL chance to score...But i'll give you that Anal :censored::)

I honestly don't see Lucas/Adam working as a partnership, Adam is a very poor man's Alonso and for me he's not good enough right now, we'd do better with Spearing alongside Lucas to be perfectly honest, or Raul or Aqua.. all three would make better partners for Lucas.

I can go along with this.  It almost seems we need to slow things down in our possesion and set things up as opposed to the quick 3-4 passes, try to get the ball in the box, lose possesion, get it back.  Repeat.

Think we look good enough to win this one though.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Downing and Enrique are the obvious ones that stand out, absolutely fantastic.  Hendo has been poor again unfortunately, and Adam is having a crazy game.  He's put in a couple of fantastic balls (including the one Carroll nearly scored), but he's messed up quite a few set pieces.  Kelly has done a bit better than Flanno and Lucas is having another quiet game.  Carroll isn't doing too bad.  He's not doing as well as against Sunderland when it comes to winning the balls, but he's definitely getting them where they need to go when he does.

I think the problem with Carroll right now is he sees the pressure he puts on their defenders and gets called fouls for it even tho he's barely touching him.. As soon has they start grabbing him he's assuming he'll get a foul, but the refs doing us no favors.

Agger's actually been quite good as well.

I really dont understand all the doom and gloom here.... they have lost one player through injury and we all suddenly expect us to turn them over.

Wenger and this team are no mugs, despite the injuries.

We are just lacking that spark of invention in the midfield.
