As Lawro said though, he works so hard when he's on the right today was a bit of joy for him. :;):

I've been one of his staunchest critics on here, but I'm made up for him and his hat-trick yesterday. Well done.

Perhaps the quality of the goals count?

For example and let's be honest, Suarez did 99% of the work yesterday for the first one. Kuyt just blasted it in from 1/2 a yard when it fell to his feet.

But, I spose there's a lot to be said for being in the right place at the right time, for the rebound.

Robbie Fowler was the player that was always in the right place at the right time and he's now known as the god!!

Kuyt was great yesterday, he reacted before anyone else and got the rewards for it.

Personally, I reckon they should play the X-Files theme when Dirky scores....

No, as long as he scores I don't care.

Look at Inzaghi, in terms of general play he offered nothing to AC Milan, but he was one hell of a goal scorer, always at the right time and at the right place, and scored some important goals in his career (ex. against us in 2007). Kuyt is a workhorse who will hold the ball better and he always did show up in the right places when he played as a striker.

Finally we can say that we have a poacher.
