Kuyt had a really bad game against Westham, everything he touched turn to sh!t. Pretty much every pass, cross & layoff.

When I saw Lucas & Kuyt trying to combine, I though uh-oh there goes any chance for creativity.

Kelly was the only one playing with real purpose on the right flank, that was until he got injured.

Dirk's hatrick against the scums further justified in one of my earlier posts last month that Kuyt was me favourite player in Lvp.

as much as he is a frustration, poor first touch and a limited footballer, he always gets into right goal scoring positions and scores important goals.

well in Dirk, your first hattrick against a team that we hate the most!! :buttrock

Well done to him for scoring and winning the game for us.
Thankfully they were tap ins and didnt need any technical ability. But credit to him for being in the right place 3 times.

For the benefit of Mr Kuyt, there will be a show tonight on trampolines.

Congrats on the hat trick fella. YNWA.

gets a lot of criticism and most of it justified i think. But the fella i someone that i cant help but like.
His attitude and desire are unbelievable and he continues to score vital goals in big games.
Its as if he is made for big games but shouldnt be in the side against lesser teams.
Well in Dirk, great anticipation for the goals.

Lads a striker and not a right sided midfielder or winger or whatever . He's a striker and will make it hard work for kenny to pick between himself suarez and carroll and A .N Other , striking options look far more healthy now.

great thing was mate the fact that he got in the positions that other strikers dont.
People will say they were easy goals but being in the right place at the right time is something good strikers are renowned for.

Not sure I've ever seen a statement in this place answered quite so affirmatively by the player. First Red to get a hatrick against the mancs in 21 years!!!! Get in Deadly!

He's scored plenty of big goals coming off that inside right spot when we've played a 3 so I don't think it matters too much. I suspect the plan is to play Carroll through the middle wioth Suarez and Kuyt either side of him. Works for me.
