So we're a one man band, is that what you're saying? Fact is, and it is a fact, no two ways about it, that Hodgson sets this team out to play so deep, that it effectively issolates Torres into chasing scraps. Now, if you're coming back from an injury, that exactly what you want to avoid doing, chasing down things. Not only that, but you need time on the ball, you need a spark, and chance or just something positive to happen for the player to wean his way out of a bad spell. Torres has been getting f*ck all, and that's squarely down to the abysmal tactics employed from the get go from our manager. He waits until we go 2 goals down for him to make a change. Look at my previous post. Was that a coincedence or an educated guess?

from its toe up and yes Rafa has a bit part to blame for that, if roy is sack then it will be still the same :censored:

I can agree with that, but the position he excels in is the same as Gerrard excels in, and Gerrard contributes with goals when playing there. The big question is how did we plan on using him and why are we not doing that?
