That won't happen because Roy doesn't like classy CB's like Agger running with the ball at his feet and spray forward passes about whist going on runs to support the attack. Nope, he's left that job to the obviously far better Konschesky who's keeping him out of the squad. Honestly, you couldn't f*cking make it up.

isnt Agger in jured?

Torres is not a target man but Roy is using him as a target man... Torres is not feckin Heskey... the distance between our midfielders and torres is too big that it's really pathetic to watch... How can he not see this obvious mistake and not fix it? It's simple... it's his football philosophy...  :no

The team doesn't look like a team, they look like individuals kicking about the football, who's fault is that? the buck has to stop with the manager who trains the team and sets up the team. You have to wonder whether the players themselves believe in Roy or not because they don't seem to have any clear direction on how to play...

Quite spot on with regards to no direction to play.

Just very confused with Lucas, Meireles and Gerrard in midfield as all 3 look completely lost.

Maxi is almost always never there. Coleman has Konchensky in his back-pocket.

This leaves Cole and Torres. Nothing magical from Cole today and Torres is basically starved off any service.

Dire stuff, I'm afraid, and with very few new ideas following the international break.  We are still sitting WAY to deep, getting closed down way too easily and failing to get the ball into dangerous positions and players in the final 3rd.  Torres is not the problem: he has had zero service.  Gerrard and Cole both are being forced to drop very deep just to get a touch and when the they look up, there's 6-7 men between them and the goal, with Torres plowing a very lone furrow up front.

The goal was poor to concede, with neither Lucas nor Konchesky doing an adequate job of closing Coleman down and no one picking up Cahill's run.  We will need a massive improvement in the second half if we want anything out of this match.

He's not exactly a ball winner though is he Lakes? He needs service to perform. He's just not getting any.

I can't believe people r criticizing Torres. Those people have no clues.. Everton' defender can contain Torres very easily as he has no support and we are playing too fecking deep that Torres have the whole f.ucking  half to cover by himself. Fecking Roy need to leave.

Get him out to f*ck before he runs this team so deep into the bottom half of the table that we won't see the light of the top four for at least a few seasons.

We had two or so counter attacks and the furthest anyone got up the pitch was half way between the half way line and the box apart from Torres!

I have never seen a manager set a team out with so much caution and fear as Roy does.

People saying take Torres off??Clueless....he has had no supply because no one is allowed to get up near him incase we get hit on the counter!

Roy looses this today he should do the decent thing and admit the job is to big for him and just resign!

Lakes, the ball never makes it past the first defender on those crosses.

You have to put a ball in that he has a chance to get to.

Aquilani just scored for Juvetus :( Looks like he's getting his feet beneath him.  We should bring on N'gog and go 4-4-2.
