Theres only one problem with your comment  Torres, Gerrard and Mascherano will LEAVE if Hodgeson comes in, goodbye fernando torres hello Bobby Zamora, goodbye Steven gerrard welcome back Danny Murphy, do you get the picture here?..........

If Kenny supports Hodgson why is it he wants the job himself,

Why hasnt he come out and said i dont want the job and ill support any appointment that is made,

You had his son Paul the other day telling everyone he wanted the job,
Youve had other people close to him saying he wanted the job,

Look if Dalglish was appointed there is more chance than not of Stevie and Torres staying , DO THEM YANKS WANT THAT ,
If Hodgson came in there more chance than not of them going DO THEM YANKS WANT THAT, think about it.

You have even had Rafa coming out publicly saying listen to the fans and give Kenny the job, He knows whats going on , and he knows Kenny would have our backing and be a thorn in them bas.tards side, DO THEM YANKS WANT THORNS IN THERE SIDE . NO they want someone there who will let them get on with what theve been doing , raping our f.ucking club,

Bang on mate , it would be a double barrelled assault, they know that thay would not be able to treat him the way they did Rafa, even the few who still think they bought Torres with there own money wouldnt stand for that, They want someone who will not upset the applecart

I understand the frustration with the owners but any administration would not be keen to employ a manager that is always at odds with their running of the football club or on side with club structure and strategy. This is not just something that would happen with G and H. Look down the road, Ferguson never has a pop at the ownership there or sides with rebel supporters or campaigns, he pulls together with his employers and shows a united front. This is what our owners want and Benitez did not learn during his time here and there was only one winner in the end. We could sell the club tomorrow but no matter who is running the it they will not have a manager constantly questioning their authority I promise you.

No, I don't, I think it is just hoopla, if I am wrong then I'll chow down on some humble pie.

Roy isn't even our manager yet and he has come under heil after heil of fire and fury and I am not sure why, for all we know he might not becoming to Liverpool?

I am more inclined to believe that Gerrard and Torres have made their minds up on whether or not they'll be here next season, they have both said they'll decide on their futures after the World Cup, but I haven't trusted a footballer since Michael Owen's constant lying about the 'progress' of his new contract.

Mascherano is off, the writing is on the wall and has been since last summer. Benayoun is off and the way I look at it, if players want to leave the club then we cannot stop them from leaving. I will not shed a tear if Torres and Gerrard leave because I want players here who want to be here and who want to fight with us fans long into the future, if they haven't got the stomach for that then maybe it is the right thing if they leave.

what many are doing right now, is belittling a manager who hasnt even left his current club but is simply RUMORED to be taking over us. im sure the reaction would be much more different if he had an exotic sounding name. im appalled by the lack of confidence people seem to have in local managers.

Hodgson being english has absolutely nothing to do with people opinion of him - he could be from anywhere in the world it wouldnt change his record of winning not one single trophy of importance - a managers nationality means nothing - its their track record of winning things that matters .

It has absoluty nothing to do with nationality nothing atall, when Houllier was sacked on the shortlist was Curbishly, Strachan, Benitez, MON & Mourhino.

Roy Hodgeson is the Curbishly on this short list.

When Moores & parry where looking for a replacement for Houllier they appionted a manger who would bring trophys and Rafa done that.

But this time round the board are not looking at who can bring trophys they want someone who wont moan about the owners and complain about transfer funds, or players being sold off so thats why Roy is their favourite he ticks all them boxes.
