you lot are deluding yourselves talking about top 4. Its time to take stock and realise how deep we are in the sh'ite. Its time to rebuild. Mash gerrard and torres would fetch us 130 million. Lucas could cover for masch aquilani could cover for gerrard and ngog would try his best lol. All am saying is do we really want another season of speculation on whether stevie and torres wona leave. I know am gona get slated but ulot make me laugh. As soon as anyone mentions selling gerrard ugo mental its pathetic!

WTF do you expect us to do throw a party at the prospect of one of the greatest players ever to grace our club and one of the best players in the world leaves  ???

What a stupid thing to say.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

see what i mean? did i mean i want them to leave? No i didnt. Is our great club in financial ruin? Yes. So come on heinstein what would u do. So lets say we keep torres and gerrard for another year. Torres is already showing signs of getting niggling injuries. Its time to rebuild slowly and surely with the new manager.  I wish someone on here would think with there brain and not with there heart?

He done well with Villa Real got them in to the CL semi's, and RM finished on their highest points last season with 96 points scoring 100 goals along the way.
He's won trophys in South America and made River Plate champions. And plays attacking attractive football.
Not 10 men behind the ball sh!te Hodgeson serves up on a regular basis.

Tell you what, if its not Kenny we could do alot worse. He teams play some superb attacking football and his track record is top notch. And for the guy that said he won nothing last season after spending a fortune, he didnt spend anything, he didnt get any say in the transfers that were made, spent half the season finding the right formation and tactics to get them playing at an optimal level, was constantly underminded by members of the board, yet still finished the season with 96 points, a club record only finishing 2nd because they team that won it is possibly the greatest side in the history of Spanish football, if not European football altogether and Im certain they will prove that over the next few years. Dont forget he turned tiny Villarreal from a medicore mid-table side with little Premier Division experience into regular Champions League participants. Sabre could probably tell you alot more about his time in Spain that I could but he is a quality coach, and watching his style of football over Roy Hodgsons would be like having a choice between Fillet steak with pepper sauce or a turd covered in vomit.

Hodgson is not a world class manager, he is a steady eddie that has done some good jobs and also struggled at various stages. There is no doubt appointing him isnt what anyone was seriously advocating when they were talking about new managers.

I hope it is someone else to be honest, but if its not i am still hopeful that what he serves up next season is an improvement on what we witnessed last.

Fair enough Ben .... I think the main reservation I have about opting for Hodgson is that the fans have had no say ,and considering this is quite possibly the most monumental decision Liverpool Football Club has ever had to make ,I find the fans shouts for Dalglish that are being totally disregarded by the Club unforgivable...... it is beneath contempt the way they are turning a deaf ear to our fervent requests for Kenny to take the reins, and in turn restore some dignity at this Great Club
