Dalglish set to speak with #LFC owners about lack of respect referees have shown to club this season. Clearly aggrieved by today's decisions

:D

he mentioned a bit in his book about them. Said they should have to explain their decisions then we can have transparency. We should have beat Sunderland, Carroll's goal was absolutely fine and Richardson should have walked

I was saying the exact same thing to my mate the other day.  I said refs should have to explain why they made certain decisions, and they should be accountable when they make mistakes.  They should have to admit when they made a bad mistake that altered the outcome of the game.  With refs not being held accountable, they just don't care that much.

Well, the game just highlighted our weaknesses.

:censored: away from home. It is away from home a team truly shows it character and metal.
Lucas, Henderson, Adam= midtable central midfield
Terrible at playing quick smart football to break down opponents
Carra once again shows he is in decline and not good enough to be a starter but always pulls out his "legendary card status"

Long season ahead.

And what's worse is that Dalglish has been the most respectful manager to the refs this season... Hasn't said a word wrong when it was obvious they screwed us out of the Sunderland game.  Pullis sits there and says refs are horrible and always treat Stoke unfairly... And what happens?

Refs give Stoke the game and once again LFC are screwed out of points.

How were we :censored:?! please explain? I rarely see a one sided game when the the team that's DOMINATING lose!  73% possession 3 hand ball not given, 20 attempts on goal and 3 for Stoke

Zero luck today, nill

Has Kenny said anything yet?

I agree with MH, I think Penguins' criticisms are a little harsh

I'm not going to let this result ruin my night (well, morning actually).

We have a lot of new players learning to play together. We have a much better squad. We have some exciting talent, and some of it young. They'll take time to come right, as will the team.

However, today we didn't play badly, as a team. It MAY be time to blood Coates in place of Carra, but we don't see Coates on the training pitch, so I'll trust Dalglish and Clarke to make that call. Adam was hit and miss, Henderson was anonymous. Both of them need to improve. Skrtel did his best in a position he is only in because of injuries. Aside from that, it was OK. Not great, but it is not the same team as started the season last year, when there didn't seem to be any light at the end of the tunnel. I'm willing to give them all time.

Totally agree, frustrating as it was I dont see how you can get too much doom and gloom out of that loss
