Pleased with that especially coming from behind to beat Stoke who are a notoriously difficult team to play against.

Very good result that , and how comfortable did the defense look in the second half with carra . I know coates made the mistake but apart from that .

That would probably be the hardest game we'd have in this competition
Whens the final?

andy_g wrote:tell yer what... that's a good win, is that. stoke is really not an easy to place to come and play and get something. especially if you're not with your strongest team. apart from the mistake for their goal i thought coates was excellent, as was the defence as a whole. thumbs up for spearing and henderson as well. good game all round and fun to watch too.

beer and ice cream time.

yeah, it's good that Coates got a lesson in the speed of the English game w/ no damage done.  Good win.  Saurez :bowdown

Coates is a good player, though obviously still has a bit to learn. At least he didn't let his head go down after the mistake...seems to be mentally strong

I thought Spearing was a beast in midfield as well.

hi all. sorry i haven't posted for a while,iv'e been too busy cooking humble pie for all of those on here who have slagged Luis off! please ffs think before you post,it really is fecking laughable at times & then becomes to a point were opinions are one thing- but lack of intellienge is another!

salt & pepper for your humble pie people or would a custard pie in the face be better. :D

brilliant win tonight, yes we made hard work of it & when we are on top in games we need to be more clinical but ffs we need other players to step up to the mark in front of goal -so i agree -but some on here need to recognise that some of the comments they make on a regular basis really, really puts people off posting on here cause it's fecking annoying to say the least.

great win-brilliant from the fans yet again,to say the support from fans away from home is poor or questionable please think again! the support as ever away from home was awsome!

Great win. That 1st Suarez goal reminded me of the belter he scored in the WC against S.Korea. Was from the same sort of position and curled into the same spot.

Credit to Henderson on the second goal  as well, he seems to put the keeper under pressure with effective if not awkward crosses and little volleys. He's done that many times this season.

Next possible opponent: Arsenal, Chelsea, Man United, Man City, Blackburn, Cardiff, Cristal Palace.

Naturally, we'll get City and the mancs will get Cristal Palace.

I'd be happy with Man United at home..

Its always a gamble playing the smaller sides in the latter stages. Do we play our best 11 or rest some and risk it .

We'll have to beat a top team sooner or later. Better in the earlier stages than later on imo.
