You've lost me over this batting average ??? and whats this green beer about

Don't the yanks have their calendars the wrong way round? (I.e instead of 3/1/2014 being the 3rd of January it's the 1st of March)
I think TGY is pointing out the coincidence that his batting average is also the date of his parents wedding anniversary.
Haven't got a clue about the green beer myself though  :D

As always, a huge game and the Mancs will love nothing better than to end our slim title challenge.

However, Manure's defence is as old as the hills and I've seen supertankers make quicker turns than Vidic and Ferdinand, which bodes well for our attacking three who will be running at them full force.

I'm going for 3-0  :buttrock

Chelsea are in a great position and probably rightly feel that the title is within touching distance (if they beat Villa Saturday evening they could be 10 points ahead of us before we even kick off at Old Trafford) but if we can somehow just keep in the race it would seriously pile the pressure back onto them.
There's nothing worse than thinking you have something won but then it's up for grabs again and that's what we have to do to Chelsea, we have just got to keep winning.

Yes, our calendars are very sophisticated. 3/17 is Saint Patty's day (my brother's birthday), hence the green beer reference (and my brother is turning 21 this year, which is a bit of a bigger deal in the states).

Excited and nervous for this one as always.  A loss here wouldn't exactly derail us, but any faint hopes of the title would be gone. Could give them a late surge of confidence too, which none of us are interested in seeing.  I expect us to win this one, so lets just call for a hammering and call it a day.

I'm really nervous for this but then again I was before the Spurs 5-0, the Everton 4-0 and the Arsenal 5-1.

It's all about how we defend for me. If we can keep them relatively quiet I just don't see how they can live with our pace and movement at the other end. There's also a lot of calls from United fans for Van Persie to be dropped.

I'm going for us to win 3-1.

we call it St. Paddys day over here
Anyway I see Rooney has been saying that over at Old Trafford they've found it hard to stomach the fact that Liverpool are contending for the title, he said it's made a bad season even worse. They will be seriously up for this, I just hope our players are too.

Nothing will fill me with more glee than Suarez scoring the winner and doing cart-wheels in front of that frog.  :buttrock

C'mon redmen let's put these fkers to the sword!

not really 'back down fighting for a CL spot'...   little dramatic!

We need to win though, not liking these 3 games in hand City have, could do with Spuds beating the gooners too!

Come on Redmen!

I just hope that BR starts with Suarez  Sturridge Coutinho Sterling Gerrard and Henderson. He can do what he likes with the defence. We can win this simply by scoring more goals than United. Couldn't care less if we win 6-5

Coutinho won't start. We'll be unchanged from the Southampton game. Why change a winning team?
