This is the official match thread. I'll edit it later when I'm at my laptop and  make it more interesting. But for now go with this...

It's easy really, we have to win. These are rubbish and at Anfield we should destroy them.

Nice one Lee.
Brendan is in today's echo calling for the fans not to get nervous and transmit that anxiety onto the players. He said he knows it's tough when the fans want the title so bad but the best way forward is to get behind the team no matter what's happening on the pitch.
I think it must be dawning on the players just how good a position we are in - 7 games left, 4 of those at home, the 3 away games being Norwich, West Ham and Palace........we could only dream of being in a position like this at the start of the season, win all our games and we will almost certainly win the title.
I think Luis is the key, he's been scoring goals but I don't think his general form has been that great recently, he seems to fall over a lot when trying those tight turns he almost patented earlier on in the season and he has been a bit sloppy in possession at times and making one or two wrong decisions too, no player goes through an entire season on top form so I'm not criticising him but what I am saying is that if Luis can find his early/mid season form again I think we'll be champions for the 19th time come May.

Well done Lee !!

This one is going to be tough. Spurs will be on a high after coming back from being 2-0 down and going on to win against quality opposition. Our pressing game has got to be a lot more impressive than our first half performance against Sunderland. Team selection will be interesting. Not sure it will be the same team that started on Tuesday. Possibly start Sterling. Wouldn't want Coutinho not to start though.

Anyone wants to give Gerrard a rest for this in light of him being 1 card away from a 2 game suspension? We have Allen, Henderson, Coutinho and Sterling as well as Lucas. I know its a bad idea but just saying. It's the same midfield that begun at WHL after all.

I'm concern about the damage Eriksen and Paulinho could cause us. Good thing is, Capoue and Adebayor are injured, as well as Walker and Chichires (sp).

***** hell this looks like it's going to be an important game now. If we win, we go top! I'm just concerned that the pressure might be getting to our players as well.

Won't be easy as the last time this one, but I still think that we are way better than them and we should be able to beat them. We should concentrate on defending, the goals will come. If they start with Adebayor then I'd play Sakho in this one.

No way we should rest Gerrard on this one mate. Most of the players will feel the pressure because we'll go top if we win, but Gerrard is at his best for these kind of games.

We'll be saying "this game is massive" almost every game between now and the end of the season!

And they'll get more important as we go on. Crystal palace and Newcastle could very well be our two most important games of the season when the time comes.

Arsenal 1 Man City 1

This could be the weekend where we take control of the title. A win against Spurs and we will be the favourite for the title
